Avengers: Infinity War is the third Avengers movie in the game-changing Marvel Cinematic Universe. This film is positioned as the beginning of the culmination of everything that has transpired in the franchise to date. Directors Joe and Anthony Russo, who previously helmed Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Civil War, have assembled the largest ensemble in a superhero film to date. Nearly every living character in the MCU is included as the Avengers join forces with the Guardians of the Galaxy to take down Thanos in a battle that has massive repercussions for the future of the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe. A sequel, Avengers: Endgame, was released in 2019 and marked the end of the Infinity Saga.
Director Joe Russo , Anthony Russo Release Date April 27, 2018 Cast Chris Hemsworth , Anthony Mackie , Elizabeth Olsen , Robert Downey Jr. , Scarlett Johansson , Mark Ruffalo , Sebastian Stan , Paul Rudd , Chadwick Boseman , Don Cheadle , Samuel L. Jackson , Josh Brolin , Tom Holland , Evangeline Lilly , Paul Bettany , Chris Evans , Jeremy Renner Runtime 149 minutes Expand
Avengers: Infinity War is one of the MCU’s fastest-paced movies. Due to the nature of Thanos’ frantic search for the Infinity Stones, the movie jumped from fight scene to fight scene as the villain rushed around the universe. The Battle of Wakanda served as the Avengers’ last stand against Thanos and the Black Order. Fittingly, the fight sequence is one of the MCU’s biggest and very best.
The Battle of Wakanda is endlessly rewatchable. With some many heroes and villains on the battlefield, repeated viewings are necessary to get a hold of what every beloved character is up to in the mayhem. Thor’s entrance and subsequent rampage are some of the best moments in the film and the MCU as a whole. Captain America, Black Panther, Rocket Raccoon, Groot, and more interacting is also very entertaining. Heartbreaking moments like Thanos winning and the Scarlet Witch having to kill Vision add sadness to the battle.

Another one of Avengers: Infinity War‘s fight scenes ranks among the MCU’s most rewatchable. While it was entertaining to see multiple MCU heroes team up on Titan to take on Thanos, and Iron Man’s one-on-one with the Mad Titan was emotional, there was another part of the fight that emerges as the most rewatchable of the bunch. That fight sequence is Doctor Strange’s best in the entire MCU, which showed the full potential of Benedict Cumberbatch’s Marvel character.
Doctor Strange took on Thanos alone, using his mystical powers against the might of some of the Infinity Stones. During their fight, Strange has impressive displays of power, such as transforming a black hole into several butterflies. The hero holds his own against Thanos in one of the MCU’s most creative fight scenes, and that aspect of it makes the sequence great for rewatches.

A follow-up to the highly successful Deadpool and Deadpool 2 films starring Ryan Reynolds as the Merc with a Mouth. The third film will be the first in the franchise to be developed under the Marvel Studios banner following Disney’s acquisition of 20th Century Fox.
Director Shawn Levy Release Date July 26, 2024 Cast Ryan Reynolds , Hugh Jackman , Emma Corrin , Morena Baccarin , Rob Delaney , Leslie Uggams , Karan Soni , Matthew Macfadyen , Brianna Hildebrand , Shioli Kutsuna , Stefan Kapicic , Lewis Tan , Randal Reeder , Jennifer Garner , Aaron Stanford , Billy Clements , Ollie Palmer , Chris Hemsworth , Rob McElhenney Runtime 127 Minutes Expand
Deadpool & Wolverine added some incredible fight scenes to the MCU. The movie is a unique entry in the franchise, standing as Marvel Studios’ first R-rated film. Due to its mature rating, Deadpool & Wolverine was allowed to have some truly bloody and violent fights that most of the other MCU entries cannot relate to. Among the film’s many fight scenes, the first is the one that ranks among the MCU’s most rewatchable.
More R-rated MCU entries will follow

, such as Mahershala Ali’s Blade movie.
Deadpool & Wolverine has one of the best opening fight sequences in superhero movies. Ryan Reynolds’ Merc With a Mouth takes out several TVA Minutemen in bloody fashion, using the skeleton of Wolverine from 2017’s Logan as a weapon. The kills are violent and happen while cuts of Deadpool dancing “Bye Bye Bye” by NSync flash through along the way, making for a hilarious and entertaining affair on repeated viewings.

The conclusion to the trilogy, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, will see the Guardians on one final adventure together as they face off with the powerful Adam Warlock – one of the most significant threats the Marvel Cinematic Universe has ever seen. To protect a friend and their world as they know it, Peter Quill and his allies will band together to save one of their own and the galaxy from certain doom.
Director James Gunn Release Date May 5, 2023 Cast Chris Pratt , Dave Bautista , Karen Gillan , Zoe Saldana , Bradley Cooper , Pom Klementieff , Vin Diesel , Elizabeth Debicki Runtime 116 Minutes
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is one of the MCU’s most rewatchable movies. There are many scenes in it that will have viewers watching over and over as years go by, and the hallway fight scene sits among those. As this was director James Gunn’s final MCU movie before moving over to lead DC, he went all out with a film full of heart, humor, and action.
The latter was at its best when the Guardians of the Galaxy walked into a hallway as a united front. The transition from the heroes having a cool slow-motion walk to the corridor into a kinetic fight sequence with many movie parts was handled well. Dynamic camera movements, an energetic song, team-up moves, and each character getting their time to shine all make this fight scene highly rewatchable.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier is the ninth entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. After being awoken from cryosleep in the previous film, Steve Rogers struggles to embrace his role in the modern world. As he adjusts, he must battle a new threat from old history: the Soviet agent known as the Winter Soldier.
Director Joe Russo , Anthony Russo Release Date April 4, 2014 Cast Chris Evans , Hayley Atwell , Scarlett Johansson , Samuel L. Jackson , Robert Redford , Anthony Mackie , Cobie Smulders , Frank Grillo , Sebastian Stan Runtime 136 minutes
Captain America: The Winter Soldier has some of the best action sequences in the MCU. To this day, movies try to repeat the tone of the MCU’s most grounded film. The stakes were high, and the movie kept putting Chris Evans’ Captain America in tough spots. One of those led to an iconic MCU fight sequence, which would later be referenced in Avengers: Endgame.
Captain America took on an elevator full of SHIELD agents who were secretly working for HYDRA. Without any outside help, Steve Rogers showed his superhuman strength and fighting skills in close quarters against various foes. The enclosed location made the fight feel more visceral, with Captain America’s punches landing heavier, and so did the enemies’ attacks. The unique factor of the scene makes it extremely rewatchable and one of Captain America’s best MCU scenes.

Another major rewatchable Captain America: The Winter Soldier fight sequence is one of those that feature the two characters in the movie’s title. The film marked the first time that Steve Rogers saw his best friend, Bucky Barnes, since he thought the character had died during World War II in Captain America: The First Avenger. Before Bucky’s identity was revealed, Captain America had a major fight with the deadly Winter Soldier.
As his feared killer persona, Bucky tries to murder Captain America with every single move. That led to one of the MCU’s best hand-to-hand fight scenes. Given all the history between the characters and the urgency of the fight scene, it is easily one of the MCU’s most rewatchable. Repeated viewings just to appreciate the Winter Soldier’s knife flip are more than warranted.

This third Captain America film adapts the “Civil War” storyline from Marvel Comics and sees Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) and Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) at an impasse over who governs superheroes and how. Captain America: Civil War pits two teams of Avengers against one another and introduces new superheroes Black Panther and Spider-Man. The divide between the two perceived leaders of the Avengers caused the other members to choose sides. It all started when the UN decided to take control of the superheroes’ involvement in fighting crimes. Steve disagreed with the UN’s proposal, while Tony supported the decision. Things turn for the worst when Steve’s friend Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), also known as the Winter Soldier, becomes the prime suspect in a terrorist bombing.

The MCU’s Captain America movies feature some of the shared universe’s best action sequences. Evans’ final solo film as the hero included quite a few creative moments, with Captain America: Civil War‘s large roster of heroes making for some epic confrontations. The film’s airport fight sequence between Team Cap and Team Iron Man is the biggest struggle between heroes in sheer size in the MCU.
Repeated viewings are necessary to catch all the big and small moments that take place as two beloved hero teams fight against each other. Many characters get their time to shine in the sequence, with Spider-Man’s MCU debut adding a dash of novelty and awe to the fight scenes. It is great to see how well — or not — the heroes work together, and those moments become more special on rewatches as time passes.

For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero is unmasked and no longer able to separate his normal life from the trials and tribulations of being a superhero. In Spider-Man: No Way Home, Peter Parker (Tom Holland) asks for help from Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) when his identity becomes a problem for the ones he loves. Unfortunately, when the spell goes wrong, Spider-Man will now have to face off with villains such as Doctor Octopus (Alfred Molina) and Electro (Jamie Foxx) as Peter finally comes to terms that he can’t run from being Spider-Man. Supported by his close friends and help from an unexpected place (or multiverse), Spider-Man will go toe-to-toe with some of the most legendary foes in his storied history.
Director Jon Watts Release Date December 17, 2021 Cast Tom Holland , Zendaya , Benedict Cumberbatch , Jacob Batalon , Jon Favreau , Jamie Foxx , Willem Dafoe , Alfred Molina , Benedict Wong , Tony Revolori , Marisa Tomei , Andrew Garfield , Tobey Maguire Runtime 148 Minutes
Spider-Man: No Way Home is one of the MCU’s biggest accomplishments. The movie managed to bring together all three live-action cinematic Spider-Men, with the characters interacting for a good portion of the film. Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland’s versions of Peter Parker are all present for the film’s major battle at the Statue of Liberty, which pits the Spider-Men against multiverse villains from Garfield and Maguire’s movies.
That is the setup of one of the MCU’s most rewatchable fight scenes and definitely number one in the MCU Spider-Man films. After initially not knowing how to work together, the heroes’ chemistry shines through as they help one another take out the villains. There are plenty of exciting action moments for each Spider-Man, as well as emotional beats and callbacks sprinkled throughout, and repeated viewings ensure none are lost.

2 Iron Man Vs Captain America & Bucky
Captain America: Civil War (2016)
Close
Captain America: Civil War has the most intimate fight scene in the MCU. While there are several bigger action set pieces in the franchise, and even in the film itself, the level of emotion and hard-hitting fight moves in the sequence where Captain America and Bucky Barnes take on Iron Man is unmatched. Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark was fighting to kill Bucky.
Even though it was not Bucky’s fault exactly, Iron Man did not care, and so Captain America and the Winter Soldier teamed up to thwart the MCU’s founding hero’s attacks. There are many highlights in the fight scene, with all three stars involved delivering top-notch acting, as well as moments that bring a lot of impact, such as Iron Man destroying Bucky’s arm or Captain America striking Tony down with his shield and winning the fight. Repeated viewings still hold the same impact that the emotional fight scene had on the first time.
