Skull and Bones

Skull and Bones, also known as “The Order” or “Order 322”, is a secret student society at Yale University in Connecticut. It is the oldest senior society at Yale University and is known for its influential alumni and the many conspiracy theories surrounding it.

At Yale, Skull and Bones is ranked as one of the “Big Three” societies along with the Scroll and Key and the Wolf’s Head. It is often referred to simply as “Skull and Bones”, and its members are referred to as “Skull and Bones members”, “Skull and Bones members”, or “Skull and Bones novices”.

According to The Atlantic, Skull and Bones, like other exclusive groups at Yale, has undergone significant changes in recent years. The admissions process has changed, and there are fewer descendants of alumni. Interestingly, left-wing activities, such as being a member of the Democratic Socialists of America, are now seen as a positive trait. For example, the Class of 2021 will not admit any conservatives.

The society’s transformation is a remarkable change from its historical reputation and reflects broader changes in the university’s culture. Skull and Bones, while still secretive, remains a unique and interesting aspect of Yale’s history, blending tradition with evolving perspectives.

How can I tell how well-known I am among the skulls and bones?

Checking the Infamy level in Skull and Bones is easy once you know where to look. Simply open the game map, which can usually be found by pressing a specific button on your controller or keyboard. Once the map is open, check the different options at the top of the screen. Keep toggling through them until you find the Captain menu.

In the Captain’s Menu, you’ll see skeletons and bones characters wearing their current outfits. The menu also breaks down important details about your ship, such as its tier, size, damage level, and any special effects it may have. This information helps you understand how strong your ship is in different situations.

In this menu, you can also find out how much experience you have earned. Experience points are crucial because they determine your Infamy level. The higher your Infamy level, the more cool stuff you can unlock, such as blueprints, recipes, ships, and fun cosmetic items.

So, simply by checking the Captain’s Menu you can keep an eye on your infamy level and see how far you’ve come in your pirate adventures. It’s a handy way to keep track of your progress and make sure you’re on your way to becoming the infamous pirate you are in the game of Skull and Bones.
