Arzette: A gem of a development in Farramore

The production of Arzette: The Jewel of Faramore is led by Seth “Dopply” Fulkerson, who works at his company Seedy Eye Software. It all started in late 2020, when Fulkerson gained attention for making unofficial remakes of Zelda: Link: Face of Evil and Zelda: The Staff of Gameron for Linux and Windows. However, he deleted the remakes two days after publishing them to avoid any problems with Nintendo.

In 2020, Fulkerson expanded his business, formed Seedy Eye Software, and hired Limited Run Games as publisher. On July 12, 2023, Limited Run Games announced Arzette to the world, and it was big news. Excitingly, voice actors Jeffrey Rath and Bonnie Jean Wilbur, who are famous for their roles in the CD-i games, have been confirmed to voice the characters in Arzette.

The team behind Arzette is even more impressive as John Linneman from Digital Foundry has come on board as a level designer, adding expertise to the project. Audun Sorlie, also from Digital Foundry, has also come on board as lead producer and writer, ensuring the storyline is engaging.

Fans eagerly awaited the release date, and Limited Run Games finally confirmed it on October 29, 2023. The highly anticipated game is set to hit store shelves on February 14, 2024.
