The storyline revolves around a high school student who returns to his hometown after a decade away and discovers that he has the power to summon Personas – representations of his inner soul. Persona 3 Remake was approved by Atlus and began development in 2019 at the request of fans, with an official release in June 2023. The remake is faithful to the original story, while incorporating graphical and functional updates to provide a modern gaming experience. The character designs were redesigned under the supervision of Narinori Soejima, performed by Azusa Shimada, and new music was composed by Jun Hojo, sung by Yasumi Takahashi and Lotus Juice.
