A pivotal moment in the evolution of Brawl Stars occurred on March 5, 2018, when developer and publisher Blue Mammoth Games became part of Ubisoft, a major player in the gaming industry. The acquisition resulted in Ubisoft taking over publishing duties and bringing beloved characters like Rayman, as well as two other characters from the series, into the Temple Brawl universe on November 6, 2018. At the same time, “Temple Brawl” has landed on the Nintendo Switch and Xbox One platforms, which marks an important milestone for “Temple Brawl”. A milestone in its accessibility and popularity.

Halla Temple Balance Game
Sanctum Brawl revolves around an engaging game mode in which the central goal often involves pushing your opponent beyond the map’s visual boundaries (called blast zones), a similar concept to Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Achieving this may involve using attacks to force enemies into the blast zone or strategically preventing them from returning to the stage, allowing gravity to guide them downwards. As each character is attacked, the damage indicator around the icon changes from white to red to black, with the darker shading translating into greater knockback until the blast zone occurs. Landing in the blast zone deducts stock, prompting the character to be resurrected on stage. Ultimately, victory goes to the last player with at least one stock or the player with the highest score.

Temple Brawl offers local and online play to meet the needs of different player groups. Competitive enthusiasts can participate in one-on-one matches to improve their rankings. Collaborative players can team up to challenge other duos in an effort to improve their joint ranking in a variety of modes, including standard stock play and rotating seasonal queues showcasing different game modes. The game is also suitable for casual fans and offers modes such as Melee, 1v1 Strikeout and Experimental 1v1, supplemented by weekly feature modes. Melee mode brings chaos to 4-player confrontations, while 1v1 Strikeout lets players choose and play as three characters, each with a stock. Experimental 1v1 allows players to test upcoming features against each other. Custom games offer flexibility with up to 8 players per match, experimental maps, and zone switching. In addition, players can form tribes within groups of friends, with multiple levels, and the tribe can accumulate experience from all members (PC only).
Brawlhalla promotes a simple control scheme with single-button special actions for easy operation. Basic commands include moving, attacking, performing special moves, weapon manipulation, and dodging. Players can adjust these controls, whether with a keyboard or various controllers.
Mechanically, players can run, jump, and perform rapid ground dashes as well as air or ground dodges. Dashing after attacking can put pressure on your opponent. While in mid-air, players can perform a combination of jumps, directional aerial dodges, “gravity canceling” mid-air landing moves, and “quick falls.” The stage allows players to hug their sides, echoing elements of games like Mega Man X.
In dynamic battlefields, gadgets and weapons drop from above – these can be collected by players. These weapon drops initially resemble swords and are later transformed into weapons that match the lore from which they were recovered. Each character chooses two weapons from 13, including blasters, katar fists, rocket launchers, swords, spears, cannons, axes, gauntlets, hammers, bows, scythes, orbs, greatswords and combat boots. Each weapon type has different properties: blasters, rocket launchers, bows, and spears excel at range, while fists and gauntlets excel at close range. The bazooka is useful for quickly traversing levels, while the cannon, greatsword, and hammer deal massive damage. Swords, orbs, fists, and boots emphasize speed over damage. A character retains unarmed attacks even after being disarmed. Gadgets like bombs and mines also come into play, and weapons can be thrown to disrupt enemies or prevent them from returning to the stage. Each character has six unique special “signature” moves – three for each weapon.
Character statistics include strength, agility, defense and speed, with a maximum rating of 10 (maximum 22). These attributes describe a character’s strengths and weaknesses, affecting their play style.Stat modifications can be achieved through stances, redistributing points from one attribute to another
