“Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty” Ending Guide
Ending 1: “Healing Songbird”
- Choice: Help Songbird escape + Kill Reed
In this ending, you help Songbird escape the stadium and betray Reed and the FIA. Songbird contacts you to formulate an escape plan, with the goal of reaching a clinic on the moon for treatment using the Neural Matrix. You infiltrate the spaceport with Songbird’s help, but President Miles and Reed arrive, sparking a battle.
After boarding the moon rocket, you come into conflict with Reed when you discover that there is only one person who can heal. If you refuse to let him take Songbird, you’ll end up shooting Reed in the head. The Songbird is on its way to the moon, but V is still in terrible condition.
Ending 2: “Agree to Reed’s deal”

You once again help Songbird escape, infiltrate the spaceport, and discover Songbird’s betrayal on the train. Following Johnny’s advice, you make a deal with Reed: you give up Songbird in exchange for NUSA’s Neuromatrix therapy. Reed took the songbird away, leaving you alone. After the credits roll, you can talk to Johnny about Songbird, and eventually, you get the chance to heal the relic.
Ending 3: “Killing the Songbird”
- Choice: Help Reed capture the songbird + kill the songbird
In this ending, you help Reed capture the songbird by stopping during the neural matrix extraction process. However, Songbird realizes something is amiss and becomes furious over Blackwall’s corruption. After a series of events, including Alex’s death and a failed prison convoy ambush, you chase Soumi into the Cynosure bunker.
You find her near death and beg to be allowed to die. After pulling her out of the core, Reed arrives. You gave Songbird’s body to President Miles, but received no help with the relic. After the credits roll, you can meet Reed for a debrief, where he acknowledges your failure as an FIA agent but expresses gratitude for making the difficult decision to kill Songbird.
Ending 4: “Alternate Songbird”
- Choice: Help Reed capture the songbird + backup songbird
To achieve this ending, you’ll need to stall for time to help Reed capture the Songbird. You ambush the convoy and reach Songbird in the Cynosure bunker. Reed arrives, and after rescuing Somi, you take Songbird to President Miles, who thanks you and gives you a medal.
During a debriefing with Reed, he revealed that Somi was incurable due to the severe Blackwall corruption, but that he would survive with his altered personality. The Neural Matrix has been saved for you, allowing you to pursue the new Relic Cure ending for the game’s main story.
