Darci Lynne Farmer (born October 12, 2004) is an American ventriloquist, singer, and comedian credited with the resurgence of ventriloquism. Farmer, who is from Oklahoma, developed an early interest in singing, although her shyness initially prevented her from performing in front of an audience.

Encouraged by the performances of ventriloquists such as Terry Fator, she took up ventriloquism and made her debut in a local talent competition in 2014 with her first puppet. After her success in the competition, Farmer received guidance and support from other performers and competed in various competitions over the next two years.
She broke through nationally after appearing on “Little Big Shots” in 2016, but her crowning moment came when she won Season 12 of “America’s Got Talent” in 2017
