-
After the cutscene, you will engage in a fight with Brol, The Tyrant King. Prepare for a challenging boss battle.
-
Brol wields two large blades and executes powerful swings. He also performs an area-of-effect (AOE) attack by lifting his blades above his head. Dodge his swings and avoid the AOE circle on the ground.
-
Focus on dealing a few hits and then create distance to evade his wide swings. Seize the opportunity to attack when he is briefly vulnerable after the AOE attack.
-
As the fight progresses, Brol will raise a blade, and additional enemies will join the battle. Prioritize defeating the new enemies first, as Brol will charge at you if he hits you, leaving you vulnerable to attacks from both him and the other enemies.
-
After dealing with the additional enemies, resume focusing on Brol. His attack patterns remain the same, so continue to dodge and deal damage.
-
Brol will repeat the pattern of calling down additional enemies at the second and third markers. Dispatch them while evading Brol’s charges.
-
As you reach the fourth marker, Brol will introduce a new attack where he throws his blades down three times in succession. Look for the small circles on the ground to anticipate the AOE attacks. Take advantage of his vulnerability after the third blade attack.
-
Stay vigilant during the final phase of the battle, where Brol repeats his pattern while intensifying the fight. Maintain patience, dodge his attacks, and seize opportunities to deal damage.
-
Once Brol is defeated, the quest will be complete.
With Brol vanquished, you have overcome a significant challenge in your quest to confront Lilith. Gather your strength and continue your journey with Lorath, for greater trials await you in Diablo 4.

-
You will emerge onto the Path of Stray Souls, where Lorath and the woman, Taissa, await. Engage in conversation with Taissa, who shares that she hears a voice in her head, identified as Andariel. There seems to be a connection between Taissa and Andariel. Taissa reveals that Elias may have sought refuge in his palace located in the deserts of eastern Kehjistan. Once Taissa finishes speaking, speak with Lorath.
-
Lorath suggests seeking the assistance of the people in Tarsarak, who possess extensive knowledge of the Kehjistan deserts. As the cutscene concludes, the quest will be completed.
With the loose threads now being tied together, you are one step closer to uncovering Elias’s whereabouts and continuing your mission to confront Lilith in Diablo 4.
Oasis of Memories: Seeking a Guide
-
Head south from your current location to reach Tarsarak, as indicated on the map.
-
Upon arrival, activate the nearby waypoint for future convenience. Then, find Lorath near the town center and speak with him to gather any information he may have obtained. Although he has only heard rumors, Lorath asks for your assistance in finding a guide who can navigate the “endless sandstorm” that the locals speak of.
-
Explore the town square and engage in conversations with various individuals. Speak to each person until you discover that an old man near the riverbank could potentially serve as a guide.
-
Return to Lorath and inform him about the old man’s presence at the Argentek Riverbank, which is marked on your map.
-
Make your way to the Argentek Riverbank and locate the circled building on your mini-map. Enter the building and approach the man behind the counter at the back.
-
Unfortunately, the man will not be cooperative. Proceed to the door at the back of the room, but be prepared to defend yourself as the man and his associates will initiate an attack. Defeat them and proceed through the door.
-
In the next room, you will find the old man named Meshif. He is situated on the far side of the room from the entrance. Engage in a conversation with him to learn more about his role and how he can assist you. Once the conversation concludes, the quest will be completed.
Having secured the guide, Meshif, you are now equipped to venture into the treacherous desert and continue your pursuit of Elias in Diablo 4.
Flesh from Bone: Journey through the Sandstorm
-
Locate the Forsaken Chapel on the map, marked as a specific spot. This is where you will meet Lorath and Meshif to commence your journey.
-
Once you arrive at the Forsaken Chapel, enter the chapel and speak with Lorath to inform him that you are ready to embark on the journey. Afterward, step outside and communicate with Meshif.
-
Prepare yourself for a challenging journey through the sandstorm. The sand will gradually erode your health, and you will encounter numerous enemies along the way. Take advantage of moments when you can seek refuge behind rubble to protect yourself and recover. It is essential to have an ample supply of healing potions at your disposal. Additionally, ensure you remain in close proximity to Meshif to avoid losing him in the storm, as he moves swiftly.

Beneath the Mask: Confronting Elias
-
Upon arriving at The Outer Gardens, have a conversation with Meshif. Lorath advises Meshif to stay safe and not engage with anyone while you and Lorath proceed inside to locate Elias. Once the conversation concludes, make your way towards the front door.
-
Before entering, you will encounter an Anointed Noble who will intercept you. Engage in a conversation with him to gather information. The Anointed Noble reveals that Lilith was recently present and that Elias possesses an object known as the Sightless Eye, which Lorath will provide further details on. Following this conversation, the quest concludes.
By learning about Elias’ connection to the Sightless Eye and confirming Lilith’s recent presence, you move closer to confronting Elias in Diablo 4.
Piercing the Veil: Confronting Elias and Retrieving the Sightless Eye
-
Inside the palace, your objective is to locate Elias. Lorath reveals that Elias possesses the Sightless Eye, a powerful artifact that grants him the ability to see across time. Your goal is to take it away from him. Begin navigating through the palace’s dungeon.
-
Start in the Noble’s Foyer, where you’ll come across Nobles practicing spells and praising Lilith. They will initially ignore you. Proceed towards the staircase at the end and ascend to the Inner Gardens.
-
Continue progressing through the Inner Gardens until you reach a large door. Speak with the Anointed Noble next to it, who grants you access to meet with Elias. Enter the room to confront him.
-
Engage in a fight with Elias, who displays a regular health bar without any special indicators. He primarily attacks with projectiles from his staff. Dodge his attacks and close in on him. Once defeated, interact with the Blood Petals on the floor where Elias stood, triggering a cutscene featuring Elias and Lilith.
-
After the cutscene, you will face Elias once again. This time, he introduces new tactics, including summoning a demon called the Champion of Lilith and creating red pentagrams on the floor. Dodge the pentagrams indicated by red circles and focus on taking down the Champion of Lilith first when Elias summons another one. Defeat Elias while avoiding his attacks and those of his summoned enemies.
-
Proceed through the door into the room Elias emerged from. Listen to the Gospel of the Mother at the shrine ahead and continue through the Inner Gardens to the Halls of the Master. Here, you will face Elias once more.
-
In the first half of the battle, Elias employs similar attacks as before and summons additional enemies, including Skittering Demons and another Champion of Lilith. In the second half, Elias will summon two Supplicants to protect him. Sever their connection to him to leave him vulnerable to attack. Avoid explosive AOE attacks marked by red circles on the ground.
-
Once Elias is defeated, advance to the next area and follow the path until you reach a large room. Prepare for another encounter with Elias, who now poses a greater challenge. His health bar will have three markers at the top.
-
Elias will utilize all of his previous attacks during this final battle. At the halfway point, he summons three Supplicants to protect him, and at the final marker, he summons five. Adapt your tactics from previous fights to overcome him. Once Elias is defeated, speak with Lorath, who retrieves the Sightless Eye from the pedestal.
-
Exit through the opening on the left to the Outer Gardens, where you will reunite with Meshif. This marks the completion of the quest.
By defeating Elias and retrieving the Sightless Eye, you have achieved a significant milestone in your journey in Diablo 4.
Exhumed Relics: Returning to the Forsaken Chapel
-
Descend the wall from The Outer Gardens and return to Meshif. However, upon reaching him, you discover that he has been found by someone and is no longer alive. Take a moment to bid him farewell.
-
Lorath instructs you to meet him at the Forsaken Chapel. It is time to investigate the Sightless Eye and discuss your next course of action.
-
After the conversation with Lorath, you will be teleported back to the Chapel. Enter the chapel and interact with Lorath to update Taissa on the events that transpired. This initiates a cutscene, concluding Act 3.
By reaching the Forsaken Chapel and informing Taissa about Meshif’s fate, you set the stage for further exploration and decision-making regarding the Sightless Eye.
