Players can activate this defensive technique by pressing the back button, B button, and special attack button simultaneously while defending. Indomitable Spirit provides a shield against damage from the Ward’s destruction scale, which has also been adjusted. Additionally, the update ensures that block stun times remain consistent regardless of the type of attack being protected.

Additionally, the update introduces Transparent Cube Awakening as an alternative option, enhancing gameplay possibilities for all characters. The version 1.40 update is scheduled to be released on July 12, which will coincide with the arrival of the game’s first downloadable content (DLC) character, Specter. This design choice is intended to make the game more appealing to those who may find traditional fighting games intimidating. Notably, the introduction of MP bars adds a strategic dimension to combat. Players can release powerful skills by consuming MP, which will be gradually replenished over time. One of the unique features of this game is the use of simplified input.

This allows players to perform actions more easily, reducing the learning curve and being able to quickly adapt to various combat situations. Additionally, DNF Duel incorporates the concept of skills common in RPGs, with MP bars serving as a resource for executing these devastating attacks. The 1.40 version update further enriches the game experience and introduces new mechanisms such as indomitable spirit, transparent block awakening, and backward dodge. These additions enhance defensive options and provide new strategies to outwit your opponents.
