There is also a more standard A113 Easter egg in Elementary which is similar in form to previous Pixar films. A113 is considered the room number of the Department of Apartments office at City Hall. It can be seen briefly in the background when Wade runs into Ember, who is sleeping outside the door waiting to meet with the water department. This reference remains special as it is one of the rare cases where a Pixar film used A113 as a room number, with The Incredibles and Monsters University the other two being examples.

2 Eat at Ralph’s Cafe for two cents

There is also a direct reference to late Pixar animator Ralph Eggleston in Elementary. This comes by way of a restaurant called Eat At Ralph’s Cafe, with a sign indicating that it offers breakfast specials for just two cents. Ralph Eggleston is a historical Pixar figure who helped Peter Sohn get his first job at the studio with Finding Nemo, but passed away in 2022 after battling pancreatic cancer. sohn said E.W. included the nod to Eggleston as a way to remember the Pixar legend, who commonly gave his two cents on different films.
