Unfortunately, if you were hoping to seamlessly continue your adventure from Final Fantasy VII Remake, you’re out of luck. Save data from the remake will not transfer over to the remastered version, meaning you’ll have to start over without any of your gear, abilities, or progress you made in the previous game.

However, players with existing save data will receive some special rewards, such as exclusive summoning materials like Leviathan or Ramuh, which can be obtained through the “Save Data Rewards” option on the Rebirth title screen.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth release date
