Like the novel, Good Omens features a variety of Christian themes and characters, and is told through the eyes of the angel Aziraphale and the demon Crowley as various characters try to encourage or prevent the coming apocalypse.
All episodes of the first season were released on Amazon Prime Video on 31 May 2019 and will air weekly on BBC Two in the UK from 15 January to 19 February 2020. Renewed for a second season in June 2021; Sheen and Tennant are back, along with most of the crew. Season 2 will be released in its entirety on Amazon Prime Video on July 28, 2023.

In the gripping Season 2 finale of Good Omens, “Every Day,” the secret behind Gabriel’s amnesia is finally revealed. As the showdown between Heaven and Hell escalates into a second apocalypse, Aziraphale and Crowley’s unique relationship takes center stage.
The episode begins with an intense battle between Aziraphale’s gang and Shax’s demons. Aziraphale prepares for war, summoning shields in his store. When demons try to invade, Maggie unexpectedly allows them entry. However, Aziraphale’s shield proved effective, vaporizing any demon that got too close. With the help of Maggie and Nina, they bravely use fire extinguishers to fight off the remaining demon hordes.

Meanwhile, Crowley is in Heaven searching for answers to Gabriel’s amnesia. He watches a video that reveals the angels’ plans for a second apocalypse, a plan that Gabriel strongly opposes. As punishment, Gabriel’s memory was wiped and he was demoted to the position of Junior Recording Angel. Armed with this knowledge, Crowley returned to Earth.
At the last moment, Beelzebub grants Shaxx the position of Archduke of Hell, leading to an unexpected twist. Gabriel and Beelzebub decided to leave Hell together and start a new life elsewhere. As the conflict between Heaven and Hell is resolved, Aziraphale and Crowley’s relationship is further explored, leaving fans hungry for more adventures in this magical world.

Good Omens Season 2 Episode 6 Ending Explained
At the end of Good Omens Season 2 Episode 6, Aziraphale and Crowley had a heart-to-heart conversation. Aziraphale shares the exciting news that he has been appointed to Gabriel’s old position as the High Angel of Heaven.
Even more surprising is that Metatron also restored Crowley’s angel status. Crowley, however, was not thrilled with this development. He wants to be on Earth with Aziraphale, but he doesn’t want to go back to Heaven or Hell. Despite his true feelings, Aziraphale is determined to make a difference in heaven.

Good Omens Season 2 Episode 6 Plot
When the memory resurfaces, Gabriel reveals that he was offered the position of the High Angel in Heaven but turned it down due to his feelings for Beelzebub. Metatron allowed Crowley to return to heaven as an angel, but Crowley was conflicted because he wanted to be with Aziraphale on Earth.
Over the course of these revelations, a showdown occurs between Shaxx’s demons and Aziraphale’s allies, leading to an epic battle in which Aziraphale summons a shield to Fight off demons. With the help of Maggie and Nina, they successfully defeat the demon army.
The season ends with Aziraphale succeeding Gabriel as Heaven’s Supreme Archangel, and Crowley is dismayed by this development because it means they will be separated again. Despite their feelings for each other, Aziraphale decides to accept the position and travels to Heaven, while Crowley remains on Earth. The episode ends with a poignant moment as the two lovers finally admit their feelings for each other, but are still torn apart by their obligations and responsibilities.
