Granblue Fantasy: Relink features powerful weapons, the Ascended Weapons, which are among the most powerful gear in existence, second only to the rare End Weapons obtained late in the game.

Craft Ascension Weapons

In the game, players can craft Ascended Weapons at the Blacksmith after completing the Very Hard quest in Chapter Zero and unlocking the Expert quest. It should be noted that each character can craft Ascended Weapons at the Blacksmith after reaching Expert difficulty. When these Ascended Weapons are upgraded to the highest level and further enhanced at Siero’s Knickknack Shack, they will become Awakened Weapons. How do I unlock Ascended Weapons in Granblue Fantasy Relink?

Unlocking Ascended Weapons in Granblue Fantasy: Relink is a major milestone that grants you access to powerful gear that greatly enhances your gaming experience. To start this process, players will need to complete the “Very Hard” quest in Chapter 0 and advance to the “Expert” difficulty level.

Granblue Fantasy: Relink Development

Development on Granblue Fantasy: Relink began in August 2016 under the title Project Granblue Fantasy Re: Link. The game is a collaboration between PlatinumGames and Cygames, with composers such as Nobuo Uematsu and Akira Narita, and artist Hideo Minaba.

The game was originally announced for PlayStation 4 in September 2016 and is scheduled for release in 2018. It is set in the same fictional world as the original Granblue Fantasy, but explores different locations and features familiar characters. Gameplay was first revealed at GranBlue Fes 2017, when the game was revealed to feature four-player cooperative multiplayer or single-player modes with three AI characters.

In December 2018, the official title of the game was announced as Granblue Fantasy: Relink. However, by February 2019, PlatinumGames withdrew from the project and Cygames took over full development responsibilities. PlatinumGames’ Relink director Yasuyuki Kaji continued to develop the game with Cygames until completion.

Originally scheduled for release in 2018, the release date of Granblue Fantasy: Relink was postponed, first to 2022, then further to 2023, and finally scheduled for February 1, 2024. In order to give players a preview, Granblue Fantasy: Relink released a playable demo on January 11, 2024, allowing fans to experience the fun of the game before the game is officially released.
