Microtransactions in Hellraiser 2

The developers at Arrowhead Game Studios designed this system in a unique way, providing players with an interesting mechanic that is different from other contemporary live service games.
Medals are another in-game currency used to unlock these war bonds, and can be earned by completing missions, actions, or various objectives. It is worth noting that the accumulation of medals is independent of war bonds, so players can earn medals even if they do not participate in activities related to war bonds.

Importantly, the developers stressed that War Bonds are designed to provide additional content and gear to Hellstalkers, ensuring a fair and enjoyable gaming experience without providing any unfair advantages. A unique feature of War Bonds in Hellstalkers 2 is their permanence. Players can have multiple War Bonds active at the same time, providing progression flexibility. This means players can choose to progress through multiple War Bonds at their own pace.
In addition to the Warbonds system, Helldivers 2 introduces a Super Store feature where players can purchase individual items using Super Points. The store is updated regularly, offering four items for purchase every 48 hours. This rotation allows a variety of items to return to the store regularly, giving players the opportunity to acquire different items over time.

Will Hellraiser 2 have microtransactions?
Helldivers 2 is set to release soon, and Arrowhead Game Studios has confirmed that the game will feature microtransactions. However, the developer is taking a unique approach, introducing a system called Warbonds. According to the game’s deputy director Sagar Beroshi, Warbonds are conceived as a unique live service, akin to receiving a treasure chest full of toys.
The Warbond system in Hellraiser 2 provides players with multiple pages of unlockable content, and premium versions can be purchased using Super Points, which can be traded for real money or earned by exploring in-game points of interest during missions. The first Warbond is called “Hellraiser Mobilization” and is available to all players for free.
On the other hand, Steel Veterans are premium war bonds included in the Super Citizen Edition. When players earn war bonds, medals earned from various in-game activities such as missions, operations, completing objectives, and exploration can be used to unlock new items.

Hellstalker 2 gameplay
