How to defeat Venusaur Seven Star Tera Raid?
Understanding Venusaur Attacks:
Venusaur has a Ground All-purpose Type and uses its hidden ability Chlorophyll to double its speed in sunlight. At the start of the battle, it sets up Sunny Day to further enhance its abilities. In addition, Venusaur also uses skills such as Growth and Amnesia to enhance its attributes, making it a formidable opponent.
Best nemesis for Venusaur:
To effectively fight Venusaur, Trainers should focus on Physical Attackers, as it can greatly increase Special Defense. Here are some of the best options:
-
Gyarados: Uses moves like Mud and Waterfall to exploit Venusaur’s weaknesses. Pairing with Dragon Dance and Moxie can further increase Gyarados’ effectiveness.
-
Walking Trail: Adjust Walking Trail into a physical attacker, utilizing Rain Dance, Dragon Dance, and Roar to mitigate damage and deliver powerful strikes.
-
Weed: While Weed isn’t a heavy hitter, its Clear Smog can negate Bulbasaur’s stat boosts, while Taunt and Acid Spray can disrupt its strategy.
-
Hisuian Goodra: While not officially seen in the games, this variant can defend itself against Bulbasaur’s attacks, using moves like Mud and Water, Rain Dance, and Acid Mist.

By taking advantage of these Pokémon’s strengths and implementing effective strategies, Trainers can defeat the Bulbasaur Seven-Star Terra Raid in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. Remember to coordinate with your team, exploit Bulbasaur’s weaknesses, and adjust your approach as needed to emerge victorious in this challenging encounter.
When does the Bulbasaur raid start?
The Bulbasaur Raid will begin on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, and will last until Tuesday, March 5, 2024. This gives Trainers a full week to participate in the event and try to capture their own powerful Bulbasaur. Unlike most other Seven-Star Tera Raid events, which usually last for a shorter period of time, this Bulbasaur Raid gives Trainers a longer period of time to participate in the challenge.
During this time, players will have the opportunity to assemble a team, develop a strategy, and begin the quest to defeat Bulbasaur and add it to their favorites. This is a unique opportunity to test your skills and explore the world of Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. So mark your calendars and get ready for an exciting adventure starting on February 28th.
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet are video games released for the Nintendo Switch in 2022. They were developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo and The Pokémon Company, marking the beginning of the ninth generation of Pokémon games. The games were announced in February 2022 and released on November 18, 2022. They were later given an expansion pass called Area Zero Treasures, two parts of which were released in 2023, and a follow-up called Mochi Mayhem in 2024.
Inspired by the Iberian Peninsula and set in the Paldia region, these games feature an open world with three main storylines. They introduce 120 new Pokémon, including regional variants and the mysterious Paradox Pokémon. In addition, they introduce the Terastal phenomenon, which allows Pokémon to transform into special “Tera types”. Like previous modern Pokémon games, Scarlet and Violet also include features such as large open areas and Pokémon roaming around the world.
Despite mixed reviews from critics, Scarlet and Violet were extremely popular among gamers. Critics praised the open-world gameplay and engaging storyline, but criticized the graphics and technical issues at the time of the game’s release. Despite this, the two games broke records, selling over 10 million copies in just three days and 24.36 million copies by December 2023. Overall, despite some flaws pointed out by critics, they made a significant impact in the gaming community.

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet retain the core gameplay of previous Pokémon games, where players capture and trade Pokémon to explore the world and battle with trainers. However, they introduce new elements to enhance the experience. One notable addition is the option to battle trainers directly on the go.
Unlike previous Pokémon games, Scarlet and Violet offer an open world with no strict distinction between cities and wilderness. Players can freely choose three routes and complete the missions in the order they like. The game introduces 112 new Pokémon, including three starter Pokémon (Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly) and two legendary Pokémon (Koraidon and Miraidon). Koraidon and Miraidon can help players traverse the environment.
In addition, Scarlet & Violet introduces new regional forms, Paradox Pokémon and “Convergent Evolution” Pokémon, which are similar to other species but unique. A new mechanic called “Let’s Go” allows players to send Pokémon to roam the world and automatically battle wild Pokémon. Co-op play allows up to three players to join forces on adventures.
A major new addition is the Terastal phenomenon, which causes Pokémon to take on a crystalline appearance and change their type to match their “Tera Type.” Special moves, such as Tera Blast, adjust their type based on the Pokémon’s Tera Type. These new features add depth and excitement to the Pokémon journey in Scarlet and Violet.
