If you’ve played Like a Dragon: Isin, you’ll notice some similarities, especially with the branding system. However, even if this is your first time delving into the series, or you haven’t played Isin, the game’s crafting mechanics are easy to grasp, ensuring an enjoyable experience for all players.

Upgrading weapons is the key to improving your character’s combat effectiveness. Whether you want to enhance the weapons you’ve collected or create new weapons for your team, the crafting system in Infinite Fortune offers depth while maintaining simplicity. The game encourages players to explore different strategies and invest in their favorite weapons, making the crafting process an important part of the overall gaming experience.

How to craft and upgrade weapons in Like a Dragon: Rich?

In Like a Dragon: Unlimited Fortune, crafting weapons is an important aspect of enhancing your arsenal. To start crafting, head to Julie’s Gear Factory on Hula Avenue, east of Resort Boulevard in Honolulu.

After completing the second chapter of the story, the bartender at the Revolve Bar will take you to Julie to upgrade your weapons. Julie’s Gearworks isn’t limited to one location; you can also find it in the Anaconda Mall. Once there, your crafting expert Julie will thank you for your help and open up her crafting business. It’s worth noting that Julie’s auto repair shop is a front for her real talents.

Julie’s Gearworks Services

Julie provides three main services that players can take advantage of:

  • Crafting Weapons: To craft a weapon, consider the raw material cost, currency cost, and facility level prerequisites. If you meet the requirements, invest in crafting the weapon you want at Julie’s house.
  • Upgrade Weapon/Add Brand: Bring Julie an upgradeable weapon without an elemental damage type. Upgrading improves all stats, and you can add elemental damage or modifiers called brands to your weapon. Brands provide damage type modifiers and rare bonuses.
  • Material Exchange: Take advantage of Julie’s Gear Factory’s Material Exchange service to further enhance your weapons.

Weapon Crafting – Process

Crafting weapons requires factors such as raw material cost, money cost, and facility level prerequisites. If you meet these conditions, you can proceed with crafting. In addition, you can invest in Julie’s Gearworks to increase the facility level, giving you more crafting options. Don’t hesitate to invest in weapons, because even if you switch to a different weapon later in the game, the upgrade level will still be available.

Upgrade weapons – improve attributes

The process of upgrading weapons is simple. Bring an upgradeable weapon to Julie and she will enhance its attributes, including basic attack damage and damage caused by skills when the weapon is equipped.

Certain weapons or materials may only become available once you have progressed far enough in the story, so be sure to return to Julie regularly. Upgrade Items (corresponding to the materials of your weapons) are required for enhancements. Higher-level upgrade items provide greater boosts and require fewer items than lower-level options.

Added Brand – Enhanced Weapons

Brands are similar to stamps from previous games, providing damage type modifications and rare bonuses. To add a brand, upgrade your weapon to the level specified at the bottom of the weapon description. Different brand slots unlock at specific levels, allowing you to further customize your weapon.

Brands that increase the chance of inflicting status conditions are particularly valuable, given that they increase the chance of applying weapon effects to various attacks. Julie simplifies the process of enhancing weapons by offering a variety of brands that don’t require a lot of farming.

Like a Dragon Unlimited Wealth Game

In the gameplay of “Yakuza: Infinite Fortune”, players will control Kasuga Ichiban and Kiryu Kazuma, as well as their teammates, to explore Isezaki Ijincho in Yokohama and Honolulu City in Hawaii. The familiar Kamurocho from the previous game is also used as a third location. Similar to the previous game in the series, “Yakuza: Infinite Fortune”, the battle system is turn-based, allowing players to strategically choose actions for each character.

Each character can be picked from a variety of “classes,” which are like classes that give them unique abilities and play styles. Kiryu’s special class is called “Dragon of Dojima,” and it allows him to switch between different fighting styles and temporarily engage in real-time combat, reminiscent of the fighting gameplay from earlier games.

The game includes a variety of mini-games, including classics such as karaoke, darts, and mahjong, as well as arcade games such as Virtua Fighter 3tb, Sega Bass Fishing, and SpikeOut. The game also introduces new mini-games such as Crazy Delivery (a food delivery game inspired by Sega’s Crazy Taxi), Sujimon Battle (a Pokémon parody), and Miss Match (a dating app designed for Kasuga).

A major side activity is Happy Resort Dondoko Island, where Kasuga is tasked with managing his own resort island, which includes tasks like resource gathering, crafting, and social interaction. Kiryu has his own side activity, Bucket List, which focuses on reuniting with old friends and allies from previous Like a Dragon games.
