How to Easily Beat Titan in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth

How to Easily Defeat Titans in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth

Find the location of the sacred information

Before facing a Titan, find all three Divine Intelligence locations. These points will weaken the Titan slightly, making the fight more manageable. Explore thoroughly to discover these points.

Weakening Titan

When you’re ready, head to the Digital Battle World to visit Chadley. If you’ve found all of the Sacred Intelligence Points, select the option at the bottom to significantly weaken the Titan, reducing its attack power and possibly its HP.

Exploiting weaknesses

Equip the Wind Materia and use wind attacks against Titan as this is his weakness. Be careful of his stomping attacks and grabbing during the battle.

Interrupts powerful attacks

When a Titan is performing a powerful attack (such as a Slam or Earth Roar), interrupt him to put pressure on him. This can increase damage output, especially by focusing your attacks to quickly increase his stagger.

Focus on key initiatives

Watch out for the Titan’s powerful leaping slams and mountain-smashing moves. Avoiding these attacks is essential to survival.

Utilizing healing items

Make sure you have enough healing items from the item conversion system to sustain you in combat.

Defeat the Titans

With proper strategy, you should be able to fight off the Titan and defeat him, especially if you weaken him through the Divine Intelligence location.

Get Rewards

Once you win, you’ll get the Titan Stone and unlock him as a summon in FF7 Reborn.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is a video game produced by Square Enix. It follows Final Fantasy VII Remake and is the second part of a trilogy of remakes of the original 1997 Final Fantasy VII game. The game combines real-time action with strategy and role-playing. It takes place after the events of the remake.

Players will play as mercenary Claude Strife and his friends from the eco-terrorist organization AVALANCHE. They travel around the world to stop the mega-corporation Shinra from using the life force (Lifestream) of planets for energy. They also want to defeat the powerful enemy Sephiroth, who wants to merge with planets to gain more power.

Development of Rebirth began in November 2019, even before the release of the Remake. Square Enix announced the game in June 2022. Many of the people involved in the development of the Remake also worked on Rebirth, with Tetsuya Nomura as creative director but not director, and Naoki Hamaguchi as director but not co-director. The game was released on February 29, 2024 for PlayStation 5 to positive reviews from critics.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth gameplay

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is the second part of a trilogy that remakes the 1997 game Final Fantasy VII. It begins after the events of Final Fantasy VII Remake (2020), when the team escaped the city of Midgar. The player primarily controls Cloud Strife, who used to work for Shinra but now fights alongside the eco-terrorist group Avalanche. They are up against Shinra, who have been draining the life energy of the Earth, and Sephiroth, a powerful soldier who has been resurrected from the dead.

The game features real-time exploration and combat. Unlike the linear progression of the Remake version of Midgar, Rebirth has a more open world. The game displays markers on the screen to guide players through the main story missions and side quests. The party can walk or ride Chocobos, and travel faster by using special Chocobo Lure Materia.

In battle, the player controls a group of characters, who can switch freely. Characters can use both physical attacks and magic. Players can also use items in the menu to attack, defend, or heal themselves in battle. The “synergy” mechanic from the Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade DLC “Episode INTERmission” is back, allowing party members to coordinate attacks, but this will slow down the speed at which their action bars fill up.
