Searching for the first moon fragment

To begin your search for Moon Shards in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, you’ll first encounter the Moon Collector in the Abyss. Start at a different location, such as Scrapper’s Hideout or the Wak-Wak Tree, and make your way through the path that leads to a large room with gears and liquids. Instead of descending, take the path to the upper left and carefully descend into a small room. Use the dashboard, pole, and Shadow of Simurgh to activate the switch and make your way through the sludge-filled room. Once the sludge is gone, interact with the round door in the corner to release the Moon Gatherer.

Looking for the second moon

A second Moon Shard awaits you in the Sunken Port. Start your journey at the Pirate Village fast travel point or the nearby Wak-Wak Tree. Go left into a vertical room, then take the lower right path, which leads to a large vertical room. Go across the hanging platform and reach a room filled with debris. Defeat the crabs, including the non-boss version of the Giant Crab, to rescue the Moon Gatherer on the bow of the broken ship. After the battle, interact with the bow to proceed to the next location.

Searching for the third moon fragment

In the Eternal Sand Trap, once you obtain the Dimensional Claw and Clairvoyance Time Power, you can find the third Moon Piece. Complete the main story mission “The Road to the Sand Prison” and head to the left side of the starting room. Drop into a huge room with a building and a hill, then continue down. Break a wall on the left where the Moongatherer’s voice can be heard. Follow the path up, breaking the jar to free the Moongatherer, and discover a hidden Jar of Spiritual Sand.

Searching for the fourth moon fragment

The final Moon Shard is located in the Tower of Silence. After defeating Azada in the Sand Pit of Eternity and receiving the Gravity Wings Time Power, unlock the area and obtain the Time Power structure through the main quest. Start at the second Wak-Wak tree or the tomb entrance fast travel point. Navigate to a large room filled with fallen rocks, defeat the Gravekeeper, and free the Moongatherer from the tomb on his back. The last encounter rewards you with an upgrade that increases your maximum potion count.
