Community plots
Community follows the adventures of a group of diverse students at Greendale Community College. The main character, Jeff Winger, is a former attorney who enrolls at Greendale Community College after being suspended for lying about his academic credentials. He organizes a study group as an excuse to spend time with his classmate Britta, but the group soon expands to include other unique characters.

Why did the community leave Netflix?
“Community” is leaving Netflix because of the way TV shows are licensed for streaming. When a show is available on a streaming platform like Netflix, it’s because the streaming service has reached an agreement with the creator or owner of the show to show it to their subscribers. These agreements usually have a limited time frame, meaning that after a certain period, the rights to stream the show expire.
In the case of Community, the agreement between Netflix and the show’s owners is about to expire. This means that Netflix will no longer have the rights to stream Community on its platform. After the expiration, the show will be removed from Netflix’s library and viewers will no longer be able to watch it there.
The reasons for these agreements ending can vary. Sometimes, a show’s owners may decide to license it to another streaming service. Other times, it may be part of a strategy to keep a show on multiple platforms to attract a wider audience.
Ultimately, this is a business decision based on the agreement between the show owners and the streaming service. So while this is unfortunate for fans who enjoy watching Community on Netflix, it’s just part of how streaming services operate.
