Pokémon Journey
Pokémon Journeys is the 23rd season of the Pokémon anime series. It is the first season of Pokémon Journeys: The Series. In Japan, it is known as Pokémon Go. The show follows Ash Ketchum and Goh on their adventures through all eight regions of the Pokémon world, including the New Galar region in Pokémon Sword and Shield.
The protagonists are aided by Pokémon researcher Professor Cerise and his daughter Chloe, a childhood friend of Goh. The season premiered on Teletoon in Canada on May 9, 2020. In the United States, Netflix acquired the rights to distribute future seasons, starting with Pokémon Journeys on April 23, 2020.
The series will be released in 12-episode chunks every few months. From 9 October 2020, the series was moved from Sunday to Friday. In the UK, the series aired on Pop from 1 September 2020, and then on Pop Max from 30 August 2021.

In Japan, the opening theme is “One, Two, Three” by Soraru and Mafumafu (episode 31), and “Nishikawa-kun and Kirishō” for episode 17. Ending themes include “Pokémon Shiritori” and “Strange and Wonderful Creatures”, which was used to promote the film Pokémon: Secret of the Jungle. The English opening theme is “The Journey Starts Today” by Walk off the Earth.
