On February 12, 2022, a second season was announced. Shota Goshozono succeeds Park Sung-hoo as series director. Sayaka Koiso and Taira Hiramatsu are responsible for character design, and Yoshimasa Terui returns as the sole composer. The second season will premiere on July 6, 2023, and is planned to run for two consecutive episodes, adapting the “Hidden Inventory/Premature Death” and “Shibuya Incident” storylines from the manga.

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 3 Review
In the third episode of the season, Gojo Satoru, Gotou Masaru, Kuroi Misato, and Tenuchi Riko have a great time in Okinawa after successfully rescuing Kuroi from the kidnappers. Nanami Ken and Haibara Yuya travel to Okinawa to join them in assisting in the mission. Gojo decided to extend his stay for another day to relax.
After returning to Tokyo, the group entered the main barrier of Tokyo Jujitsu High School. After using it continuously for 48 hours, Gojo finally lifted his spell. However, the peaceful moment is broken by a sudden attack by Fushiguro Toji, stabbing Gojo, triggering a fierce battle.
Meanwhile, Kuroi, Getou, and Amanai head to the Tomb of the Star Corridor. Inside the tomb, Gaito assures Amane that he and Gojo will protect her if she chooses to escape. Tragically, Toji shot Amane in the head, killing her instantly, and claimed that he also killed Gojo.
The episode ends with an enraged Getou summoning his most powerful cursed spirit to confront Toji in a furious and intense battle.
