Kofi Nahaje Sarkodie-Mensah (born August 14, 1981) is a Ghanaian-born American professional wrestler currently working with WWE as The New Day part of the show, performing on the Raw brand under the ring name Kofi Kingston.

After attending Boston College, Coffey began a professional wrestling career. Initially, he wrestled on the New England independent circuit, adopting the image of Jamaican wrestler Kofi Nahaji Kingston.

His talents caught the attention of WWE, and in 2006 he secured a developmental deal. Moving to WWE in 2008, he maintained his Jamaican persona until the end of 2009, when he dropped his Jamaican persona and accent while retaining his in-ring name, Kofi Kingston. He then started receiving bills from his actual home country of Ghana.
