In Yakuza Gaiden: The Man Who Erased his Name, you will play as Kazuma Kiryu and explore two different places: Sotenbori District in Osaka and Isezaki Ijincho District in Yokohama. There is also a central area called the Castle where you can do additional activities. You can enjoy fun mini-games such as karaoke, pocket racing, running a cabaret club, and even a fighting arena. Plus, a new character named Akame will give you extra tasks to keep things interesting.
Kiryu has two fighting styles in the game: Yakuza and Agent. The Yakuza style is similar to the classic fighting style of his previous games, while the Agent style focuses on high-tech equipment and super-fast, precise movements. Similar to Lost Judgment, Yakuza Gaiden also has some classic video games in the Master System that Kiryu can play, such as Alex Kidd in Wonderland and Alien Syndrome. There are also arcade games like Daytona USA 2 and Fighting Vipers 2 to enjoy.
