Marvel Snap White House Location Guide
In Marvel Snap, the White House is a unique card-replicated location with special effects. When you reveal the White House, the highest-cost card in your opponent’s deck is added to your hand. It’s important to note that this effect occurs without any triggering and affects both players’ hands regardless of whether they place a card in the White House.
The White House debuts during the Hellfire Festival, which will initially last 24 hours before becoming a regular part of the game. On launch day, the White House will be 50% more likely to appear in both PvP and Conquest matches.
The White House’s Best Strategies
There are two main strategies in the White House: offensive and passive.
-
Offensive strategy:
- The goal is to attack your opponent with negative or damaging high-cost cards.
- For example, you could play a card like Death, which is an 8-cost card that’s great for destruction or ramp decks. The purpose of this strategy is to fill your opponent’s hand with cards that may not be useful to them, especially if they are not playing the same deck archetype.
-
Passive strategy:
- The goal here is to exploit your opponent’s highest cost card by incorporating it into your strategy.
- For example, you can build a ramp deck so that added high-cost cards work in your favor regardless of your opponent’s deck type.

Whether you choose an active or passive approach, understanding the White House’s potential can give you a strategic advantage in Marvel Snap. Try different deck combinations to get the most out of this unique position.

Marvel Snap White House Top Deck
If you want to build a safe and effective deck for the White House, consider building your lineup with 1-cost Khazar cards. This strategy ensures that even if your opponent uses White House to steal a card from you, it won’t have a major impact on your end game. To create this deck, collect the following cards:
- Hood
-
ant man
-
Agent 13
-
squirrel girl
-
eagle eye
-
sleepwalker
-
rocket raccoon
-
sunspot
-
patriot
-
Iceman
-
beast
- Qajar
In the above lineup, Kaza is the most expensive card and is usually used on the fourth turn. However, it doesn’t add much value to a deck that doesn’t work well together. When this card enters the opponent’s hand, they can choose whether to play the card or keep the card, both options disrupting their plans.
Some players may choose a more aggressive and destructive deck, such as a changed Electro Ramp lineup that excludes death, especially against the White House. However, it’s important to use this method with caution, as it runs the risk of passing death to the Destruction deck, giving your opponent an easy advantage.

In Marvel Snap, the gameplay is very simple. Each player has a deck of 12 cards that reveal the Marvel character’s cost, power level, and sometimes special abilities. During each round, players secretly select one or more cards and place them face down in one of three locations, each with its own unique effect. When cards are revealed, their special abilities come into play, and the player with the most power in a certain position wins that card. Our goal is to win two of the three locations.
The game usually lasts six rounds, and as you play, you gain more “power” to use stronger cards. Players can earn “cubes” to climb the game’s ranking ladder, and there’s a unique “catch” mechanic that doubles the stakes. Compared to other card games, Marvel Snap is designed to be simple, with each game lasting only a few minutes.
The game’s global launch includes over 170 characters, with more being added every week. In addition, players can obtain different artistic versions of their favorite cards (called variants) purely for cosmetic purposes, with over 1,000 variants available as of January 2023.
Marvel Snap Game Mode
Marvel Snap offers different ways to play, called Game Modes. The main mode is the regular mode, where you play against another player randomly selected for you. In this mode, you can use a deck composed of unlocked cards. This mode is called Standard, and there’s a ranked mode in which you climb the game’s ranking ladder. Every month, at the end of the ranked season, player rankings will be reset.
For even more fun, there are additional multiplayer modes:
- Versus Mode: Here you can challenge your friends to private battles. Interestingly, the cubes you get in this mode don’t affect your ranking, but rather your health. Both players start with 10 health, and winning a round damages the other player based on the cube value. After the fifth round, the cube value is automatically doubled.
- Conquest: This mode combines the gameplay of Battle mode and introduces its own ranking system, including leagues such as Proving Grounds, Silver, Gold or Unlimited. The Proving Grounds are always open, but others require tickets to enter, which you earn by defeating your opponents in previous leagues. Added in June 2023, this mode offers a new way to enjoy Marvel Snaps.
