Who is Max Verstappen?
Max Emilian Verstappen is a Belgian and Dutch racing driver who competes in Formula 1. He has achieved great success, winning the World Championship in 2021, 2022 and 2023 with Red Bull Racing.
Max Verstappen was born on September 30, 1997, the son of former Formula 1 driver Jos Verstappen and former karting driver Sophie Kumpen. Verstappen had a successful career in karting and single-seater racing, including FIA European Formula 3, where he broke several records.
He made his Formula One debut at the 2015 Australian Grand Prix at the age of 17 years and 166 days, becoming the youngest driver to compete in the series at the time. After spending the 2015 season with Toro Rosso, Verstappen joined Red Bull Racing in 2016.
