The game is presented from a third-person perspective and features cooperative and competitive multiplayer modes. “Minecraft Legends” is set in the vast “Minecraft” universe and unfolds in the fierce conflict between the overworld and the nether piglins.
Upon starting the game, the player finds himself mining in a cave, and is approached by three characters: Action, Knowledge, and Vision. These characters plead with players to help their world in the war between the Nether and the Overworld. The player is then transported into the game world and embarks on a journey that includes a tutorial and a series of missions to save the village from the piglin invasion.
The game progress includes destroying nether outposts, fighting bosses such as “The Devourer”, “The Beast” and “Indestructible”, and finally facing the final boss “The Great Boar”. The game culminates in a celebratory moment in the overworld after players defeat the piglins, adding a satisfying conclusion to the intense conflict at the heart of Minecraft Legends gameplay.
