Action Mastery Guide and Best Settings in MW3

Master the basics

Before delving into advanced movement techniques, it’s crucial to master the basics. In MW3, your character can perform the following actions:

  • Sprints and Tactical Sprints
  • Jump
  • Crouching and prone
  • slide

sprint

Sprinting is the foundation of advanced movements. You can sprint infinitely in MW3, and a second press will activate a tactical sprint, significantly increasing your movement speed for a short period of time. However, be aware of the sprint-to-shoot penalty during tactical sprints.

jump

Jumping is a powerful tool for confusing your opponent. Use this strategically, but be careful as jumping reduces ADS speed and accuracy before landing. Combine jumping with sprinting or sliding for best results.

Crouching and prone

Crouching and prone positions are essential for advanced movements. Crouch and glide while sprinting, an important tool for aggressive play. Proning is useful for airdropping during gunfights and disrupting enemy aim. If you’re trying to go prone while sprinting, you can do a dolphin dive instead of gliding.

Sliding mechanics

Gliding is the most important part of the MW3’s sports kit. Start gliding while sprinting or tactical sprinting to gain a significant speed boost. Master Slide Cancel is a MW2019 technology that allows you to quickly exit a slideshow while maintaining versatility. While canceling the swipe doesn’t restore tactical sprinting, its advantages outweigh the minor disadvantages.

Advanced sports technology

bunny hop

Gain speed by sprinting, then jump twice in a row. The bunny hop maintains momentum, but there are diminishing returns after two jumps.

Shooting

Stay crouched during a duel to fall down quickly. Combined with sliding for advanced tactics. The Tactical Pad perk helps increase airdrop efficiency.

jump shot

While tactically sprinting, press the jump button to start launching forward. Great for starting a gunfight or confusing your opponent.

Slide cancel

When gliding, press the jump key to end the gliding and ADS immediately to reduce the penalty. There is no tactical sprint recovery after sliding.

winding

Alternate between standing and prone behind cover. Gain advantage with netcode, but face diminishing returns from snaking fast.

Increase movement speed

Modify weapon construction to affect movement speed. Light weapons can increase speed, and attachments can further increase mobility. Perks like tactical pads and lightweight boots provide valuable athletic enhancements.

Best sports settings

Experiment with sensitivity, dead zone and aim assist curves to personalize your settings. Consider suggested changes such as auto-sprinting, tactical or bumper jumper layouts, and customized graphics settings to improve the gameplay experience.

This comprehensive guide is designed to provide MW3 players with the knowledge to effectively navigate the battlefield. Master these movement tips to gain a competitive edge in multiplayer and Warzone modes.happy games

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3

“Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III” is a first-person shooter developed by Sledgehammer Games and published by Activision Blizzard. This is the twentieth entry in the “Call of Duty” series and the third entry in the rebooted “Modern Warfare” sub-series, following the events of 2022’s “Modern Warfare II”.

The game was released on November 10, 2023 on multiple platforms, including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. “Modern Warfare III” retains the realistic and contemporary setting of the previous game and continues the overall narrative of the series.

The storyline revolves around the multinational Special Operations Forces Task Force 141 as they hunt down Vladimir Makarov, a Russian ultranationalist and terrorist who plans to incite World War III. The multiplayer portion of the game features remastered versions of all 16 base maps from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, with additional maps being prepared for post-launch updates.

“Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3” gameplay

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III offers similar gameplay to its predecessor, Modern Warfare II, and the broader Call of Duty series. It retains features such as slide to cancel, and introduces “open combat missions” in the campaign, allowing players to approach targets more freely.

In multiplayer mode, all 16 maps of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be accessible at launch. Players can vote for maps in the matchmaking lobby, a feature that has returned after being omitted from some recent games. The game also increases the player’s health, thereby extending the “time to kill” (TTK).

The “red dot” minimap, which was not present in Modern Warfare 2019, is back with a vengeance, showing the location of enemies when they fire unsuppressed weapons. Classic game modes like Kill Confirmed and Hardpoint are back, along with a new mode called Cutthroat. Ground War and War modes return with dedicated maps, and AI-driven moderation can identify and report toxic behavior. More than a dozen new multiplayer maps will be released at launch.

A highlight is the novel open-world PvE Zombies mode developed in partnership between Treyarch and Sledgehammer Games. Unlike traditional turn-based Zombies, it follows a DMZ mode structure, with up to 24 players forming squads to battle zombies and AI-controlled human enemies to complete objectives, collect loot, and extract items. The mode introduces “zones” instead of rounds, with escalating difficulty levels. Aetherstorms and narrative-driven story missions add depth to the experience.
