Persona 3 Reloaded Edition Controlling Partner Boss Guide

In Persona 3 Reloaded, you’ll face off against a tough duo, the Control Partner and the Dependent Partner. They’re the gatekeepers of the 91st layer of Hell, and they’re pretty tough. These fights aren’t as tough as the Full Moon bosses, but they still require some strategy to defeat them.

weakness:

• The control partner is strong and has no weaknesses, it can resist many types of attacks.

• Relying on a partner can offset magic attacks, but is weak against Pierce’s attacks.

Best Party:

• Choose the protagonist, Yukari, Akihiko, and Aigis to participate in this battle.

How to defeat them:

1. Focus on the dependent partner first. When the dependent partner falls, use the protagonist’s Pierce attack and Aigis’s Brutal attack.

2. Yukari should focus on healing and dealing extra piercing damage with her bow.

3. Akihiko should use Tarunda to reduce the enemy’s attack power and try to deal a critical hit to the controlled partner.

4. After defeating a Dependent, the Controlling partner will be vulnerable for two turns. Use Aegis’s power to increase its attack power and deal heavy damage.

5. Continue to use Pierce Attack to aim for critical hits, and unleash Full Power Attacks when available.

Using this strategy, you should be able to defeat both Control Partners and Dependent Partners and break out of Hellraiser in Persona 3 Reload.
