On Pokémon Day 2024, The Pokémon Company President and CEO Tsunekazu Ishihara hosted a special Pokémon Presents video. The event announced exciting updates, including two new games: Pokémon Legends: ZA and Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket Edition.

Pokemon Legends: ZA:

• The upcoming game is set in Lumiose City and uses an urban reconstruction plan that envisions humans and Pokemon living in harmony.
• The game is expected to be released in 2025 and will bring a new adventure to the Pokemon universe.

Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket:

• In 2024, a new app called “Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket” was launched for iOS and Android devices.
• Players can collect digital cards, engage in quick battles with streamlined rules, and experience “immersive cards” that allow them to immerse themselves in the world of card illustrations like never before.

Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Purple:

• To celebrate Pokémon Day, a series of 7-star Tera Raid Battles will be launched, featuring powerful Pokémon like Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise.
• The Tera Raid Battle event series will begin on February 27, 2024 at 4:00 PM PST.

Pokemon GO and Pokemon Horizons: Series:

• The collaboration, which begins on March 5, 2024, will bring Pikachu wearing a Captain America hat to Pokemon GO, complete with the new move Volt Tackle.
• New Pokemon added to Pokemon GO include Charcadet, Armarouge, and Ceruledge.

Pokemon Masters EX:

• Pokemon Cafe ReMix allows players to collect Gimmighoul Coins, release new costumes, and host Bingo events to recruit the Legendary Pokemon Koraidon and Miraidon to join the cafe staff.

How to play Pokémon

In a Pokémon game, the fun starts when you choose one of three special Pokémon at the start of your adventure.
