The story of Witch Asylum synopsis
In the imagined asylum of an English town, witches coexisted openly with the community and remained revered and important figures for centuries. Sarah Fenn is a famous witch whose healing methods the people of the town rely on when traditional methods fail to work. However, the quiet town takes a dark turn when local teenage rugby captain and bully Dan Whistle dies unexpectedly at a party.
Dan’s grief-stricken mother Abigail has since launched a contemporary witch hunt, blaming Sarah for her son’s death. Abigail believed strongly in her son’s sanctity and held Sarah’s daughter, Harper, responsible for Dan’s death. Unbeknownst to Abigail, Harper was betrayed and abused by Dan for his own amusement.
