In Skull & Bones you enter a world of piracy and naval warfare set in East Africa and Southeast Asia in the late 17th century, when piracy was at its peak.

You will become a pirate captain, sail the seas, plunder treasures and battle other ships. All this in order to build your own pirate empire and become the most feared captain on the sea.

The game features a thrilling music composed by Tom Holkenberg. The game is built using Ubisoft’s Anvil engine, which makes the game look and feel realistic. Unfortunately, there will be no version for Google Stadia due to the upcoming closure of the service. Finding Foundry Sand can be a little tricky in Skull & Bones, because it’s not just scattered in one specific spot. You won’t find it on islands or beaches; instead, you have to look for it on other ships. But it’s not just on any ship. You need to target Ungawan merchant ships that sail along specific trade routes.

These routes are mainly located in the north and south of Jiwe, stretching from Harufu to Pembe. When sailing in these areas, keep your binoculars on the lookout for Ungawan ships. If you want to throw sand, these are the ones you want to attack.

However, it’s not as simple as just attacking any Ungawan ship you see. These areas are heavily patrolled, with guard towers stationed every few miles. If you attack a ship, not only will that ship retaliate, but nearby guard towers and other Ungawan ships will also hunt you down. So, it’s essential to be prepared before attempting a surprise raid on the Foundry Sands.

Make sure your ship is at least Tier V and is equipped with upgraded cannons and a sturdy hull. This will give you a better chance of success when facing multiple enemies. Also, try to board an enemy ship instead of sinking it outright. Boarding a ship gives you a chance to find additional forging sand, although you may also find other loot as well.

Finally, remember that Jiwe and Pembe do not have docks for your ships to dock in. So if you need to fast travel or make repairs, head to Navigator’s Cross, which is the closest Skull and Bones fast travel point in the area.

Skull and Bones Gameplay

Skull and Bones is a game where players take on the role of a pirate captain sailing the seas. Players can control a pirate ship and customize it to their liking. Players can explore the Indian Ocean alone or team up with up to five other players to engage in player-vs-player battles in disputed waters.

In the game, knowing the wind direction can give you an advantage in battle. You’ll encounter different types of ships, such as sloops, frigates, and brigs, each armed with different weapons, such as mortars, cannons, and rockets. You can ram other ships and even board them for hand-to-hand combat. Your ship has a health bar that shows how much damage it can take before it sinks.

An exciting multiplayer mode is “Treasure Hunt”, where two teams of players compete to find treasure and increase their wealth. You can climb up to the ship’s lookout to get a better view of your surroundings, and you’ll have telescopes to help you spot enemies and treasure from a distance.
