Sleep token history
Founded in 2016, Sleep Token is a British rock band known for its mysterious and unique style. The band is led by the mysterious frontman Vessel, who maintains the anonymity of its members by wearing masks and cloaks. They debuted in 2016 with the single “Thread the Needle”, followed by the EP “One”. Sleep Token’s genre-defying sound blends elements of alternative metal, post-rock and progressive metal.
Signed to labels including Basic Records and later Spinefarm Records, they released their debut album Sundowning in 2019, followed by This Place Will Been Your Tomb in 2021. The band’s third album “Take Me Back to Eden” is released in 2021. 2023. Despite challenges, including alleged doxxing incidents, Sleep Token has continued to attract fans with its unique sound and mysterious image.
