Slothrust is an American alternative rock band formed in 2010 in Boston, Massachusetts. The duo consists of Leah Wellbaum (vocals, guitar) and Will Gorin (drums), who began working together while studying at Sarah Lawrence College. The band’s name is a combination of Wellbaum’s previous project “Slothbox” and “rust” which symbolizes the passage of time. They came to attention with their debut album “Feels Your Pain” (lead single “7:30 AM”).

Slothrust continued to evolve, with albums like Of Course You Do and Everyone Else exploring themes of love and existential angst.
