Snow Walker
SnowRunner is a 2020 video game in which players control an off-road vehicle to complete missions. Developed by Saber Interactive and published by Focus Home Interactive, the game is in the vein of the Spintires and MudRunner games. Originally released in 2018 as MudRunner 2, it was later renamed SnowRunner in 2019. The game was initially released on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in April 2020, and was later released on Nintendo Switch in May 2021.

The game was subsequently released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S in May 2022. SnowRunner offers over 60 vehicles and over 15 locations for players to explore. Additional content is available via DLC for the third anniversary edition. A sequel, Expeditions: A MudRunner Game, will be released on March 5, 2024.

Snowrunner 1.48 Update Patch Notes
Fixes and improvements:
- Fixed an issue where some trucks would disappear from the Truck Storage for accounts that did not purchase the “Jack of All Treads Tire Pack” DLC pack
- Fixed an issue where the number of “stock” tires would increase when replacing tires from the “Jack of All Treads Tire Pack” DLC pack without receiving monetary compensation
- Fixed a bug where any truck would disappear from the Garage after installing a truck with purchased DLC tires in a Garage slot and turning off the “Jack of All Treads Tire Pack” DLC pack
- Fixed an issue where engine sounds would randomly disappear completely during gameplay on PS5
- Fixed a bug where the green check mark would not appear in the Region Progress tab after completing the Everything is Connected 1 contract in the Global Map menu
- Fixed an issue with losing progress after launching the game after the North Carolina update on MacOS
- Fixed an issue with the FEMM-37-AT garage slot remaining locked in the Truck Shop despite it being unlocked in-game
- Fixed an issue with the truck freezing after the Prototype Exploration Unit trailer was delivered and packed in the Bad Connection contract
- Fixed multiple crash issues on Xbox
- Localization fixes

Snowrunner Gameplay
SnowRunner is a video game in which players take on the role of delivering cargo, completing construction projects, and performing repairs in challenging off-road environments. Set in rural areas of North America and Russia, players must use a variety of vehicles to traverse rugged terrains after various disasters. After completing missions, players can earn money to upgrade their vehicles or purchase new ones to more easily handle the terrain.

Each region has a story related to the disaster it faces, and players can also complete optional limited-time missions for additional rewards. The game also offers customization options, allowing players to change the appearance and mechanical properties of the vehicle, such as color, tires, and accessories. SnowRunner offers a variety of trucks to choose from, with North American trucks being officially licensed and Russian trucks having unique names. DLC for the game includes skin packs, map expansions, and additional vehicles.
