Splatoon 3 Gameplay

In Splatoon 3, players can play as Inklings or Octolings, shooting colored ink at each other. The weapons they use are pretty cool and look like ordinary things you’d see at home. For example, there are large paint rollers that can cover large areas but are more suitable for close-quarters combat. There are also sniper-type weapons that can shoot from a distance but don’t cover much area.

The game adds new weapons: a primary weapon of your choice, secondary weapons that go with your primary, and special weapons that require large amounts of ink to recharge. Inklings and Octolings can transform into squids or octopuses, which helps them climb up ink-covered walls and swim faster through the ink. As you shoot, your ink depletes, but if you dive into the ink as a squid or octopus, your ink recharges faster. All the old weapons from previous Splatoon games return in Splatoon 3.

Splatoon 3 Plot

In the game, players join a group called the New Squid Beak Platoon, which is led by an old squid named Craig Cuttlefish. They become Agent 3 and team up with a small fish named “Buddy”. Together they fight against a mutant enemy who has stolen an important item, the “Big Shockfish”.

As they delve deeper into a crater, they encounter Octavian’s enemies and a leader named DJ Octavio, who accuses Cuttlefish of taking their fighters and denies taking Zapfish. They eventually come to an underground city, where they meet the rest of the Splatoon team and realize that Cuttlefish is missing.

A famous group called Deep Cut believed that there was a treasure in the city and clashed with Squidbeak Splatoon. They later discovered that Mr. Grizz, the owner of a company, had kidnapped Cuttlefish and wanted to use Zapfish to turn everything into mammals with something called Fuzzy Ooze. After many battles and sticky situations, they teamed up with Deep Cut to stop Mr. Grizz’s plan.

They find the squid, but it appears to be damaged. Mr. Grizz plans to use rockets to cover the planet in fuzzy ooze, turning all life into mammals. The team manages to stop Mr. Grizz with a huge battle. Agent 3, the gang, and Octavio bring back Zapfish, while Mr. Grizz floats away in space.
