Staind, pronounced /steɪnd/ STAYND, is an American rock band that originated in Springfield, Massachusetts in 1995. The band’s original lineup included Aaron Lewis on vocals and rhythm guitar, Mike Mushok on lead guitar, and Johnny April on vocals. bassist and backing vocals, and Jon Wysocki on drums. Although the lineup has remained largely stable, Wysocki left the band in 2011 and was replaced by Sal Giancarelli.
