Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is an action shooting game developed by Rocksteady Studios and published by Warner Bros. Games. As a spin-off of the Batman: Arkham series, it is the sequel to Batman: Arkham Knight (2015). The game is scheduled to be released on February 2, 2024, and the deluxe version players can get it in advance on January 29, 2024. The game is designed for PlayStation 5, Windows and Xbox Series X/S platforms.

The storyline is set in the DC Comics universe and revolves around four super villains: Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, Harley Quinn and King Shark. These characters are entrusted by Amanda Waller to stop the alien invader Brainiac and rescue the members of the Justice League who are under his control. Players can explore the open world environment of Metropolis alone or in cooperation.
Kill the Justice League was announced in August 2020 and was initially scheduled for release in 2022. However, the game has faced multiple delays. Notably, this was Kevin Conroy’s last time playing Batman, as the actor passed away on November 10, 2022. Based on the acclaimed Batman: Arkham series, the game promises to deliver a compelling action-adventure experience set in the vast DC Comics universe.

As of the release date of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, which is January 30, 2024, the game is not yet included in the Xbox Game Pass lineup. Microsoft has announced its Game Pass product, which will be valid until February 6, 2024, and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will not be part of the subscription service at that time.
For Game Pass subscribers who want to play some games, the lineup includes “Persona 3 Reload” launched on February 2, 2024, and the independent game “Anuchard” launched on February 6, 2024. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League gameplay
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is an action-adventure game set in the vast open world of Metropolis. Players can take on the role of four playable characters: Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, Harley Quinn and King Shark. The game offers single-player and co-op multiplayer modes for up to four players.
In single-player mode, players can switch between characters at will, with the remaining characters controlled by the game’s AI. Each character possesses two weapon classes, some of which may overlap between characters. In addition, they each display a unique melee style and unique movement patterns. For example, Harley Quinn wields a baseball bat and uses Batman’s iconic grappling gun to move around.

The game uses a skill tree upgrade system, players can re-assign skills at any time during the game and try different builds. As the game progresses, players can customize and enhance their characters according to their favorite play style.
Post-launch content will be released in “Seasons” consisting of frequent free updates introducing new locations and playable characters. This approach ensures players in the Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League universe have a continually exciting and fresh experience.
