A workaround is to go to the arcade machine in the center of the room and select the CPU Ghost option. This will display a list of all NPC fighters, with the fighters that offer unlockable rewards still marked with a treasure chest icon. Here you can also identify the character they are using, allowing you to more directly select the costume for your favorite fighter.

After defeating an opponent in Super Ghost Battle, the game offers three random opponents to choose from for your next match. However, this selection screen does not show which opponents have treasure chests, which is a bit inconvenient. Each attempt requires you to select your character and stage again, a process that can waste a lot of time.
