About team battle tactics
“TFT” (TFT) is an auto-chess game developed and published by Riot Games. A spin-off of League of Legends and inspired by Dota’s auto-chess game, Teamfight Tactics pits players against seven opponents in online matches with the goal of being the last player standing.
TFT was first launched as a game mode in the Windows and macOS versions of League of Legends in June 2019. TFT subsequently became a standalone game on Android and iOS in March 2020, offering cross-platform play.

In Teamfight Tactics, players will see a board consisting of eight spaces and randomly select heroes to choose from. They strategically place these champions on the board and can upgrade them to increase their power. Collecting items throughout the game allows players to equip their champions, further enhancing their power. The ultimate goal is to defeat other players’ champions through battles and strive for the ultimate victory.
TFT’s gameplay is both fast-paced and strategic, offering a relatively easy learning curve but requiring mastery to excel. With over 30 million players worldwide, it is wildly popular in the auto chess genre. The game has several notable features, including strategic gameplay that requires thoughtful decisions regarding hero selection, splitting, and positioning.
More than 50 unique heroes provide diverse options for team composition and play styles. The addition of a random element ensures each match is unique and unpredictable, keeping players engaged. Additionally, TFT supports both single-player and multiplayer experiences, allowing players to connect, chat, and build friendships within the game’s social features.
Team battle tactics game
Get ready to experience the exciting Teamfight Tactics (TFT) game! Inspired by Dota Auto Chess, this game pits eight players against each other in an epic battle to claim victory.
Imagine a battlefield filled with hexagons, with players strategically placing their units on one side of the board between turns. Combat is fast and furious, with two players randomly matched up against or against computer-controlled enemies each round. Defeat your opponents and earn coins, units and powerful items that can turn the tide in your favor.
The game is divided into stages and rounds. Each stage has seven rounds (except for the first stage), three of which are against computer-controlled enemies. Now, things get exciting – on the fourth round of each stage, we have the “Carousel” feature! It’s like a mini shopping spree where you choose from a rotating selection of units with random items.

The player with the lowest health gets priority, ensuring everyone has a fair chance. Oh, and don’t forget, get ready to face those cunning computer-controlled enemies in the final round of each stage!
Gold is your lifeline in Teamfight Tactics. Earn it during the turn and use it wisely. Save it to earn interest and increase your earnings each round. Winning or losing multiple rounds in a row will also affect your earnings. Using your hard-earned gold, you can re-roll units in the store or buy experience points to upgrade.
The higher your level, the more units you can field on the board, and trust me, this makes a huge difference. Find other copies of the same unit to upgrade them, increasing their health and attack power. Talk about upgrading your team!
Units in TFT have health bars and mana bars (of course, there are a few exceptions). They take damage from enemy attacks and abilities, which lowers their health but increases their mana. Once a unit’s health drops to zero, they exit the turn. But when your mana bar fills up, be ready to unleash your special abilities. Some units may start with a bit of mana, but most units start each round empty, so timing is everything.
Now, let’s talk about synergies – those game-changing team compositions. Combining units with the same characteristics activates synergies that benefit your squad. Traits can strengthen your allies, weaken your enemies, or unleash various effects. There are a variety of synergies to explore, and the right combination can give you the edge you need to dominate the battlefield.
Keep in mind that Teamfight Tactics regularly updates its troop rosters to keep them fresh and exciting. There will be mid-term updates every three months in which certain traits and units are rotated to keep gameplay balanced. Since TFT is a game mode in League of Legends, patches follow the numbering system of its parent game.
