The best jobs in Like a Dragon Unlimited Wealth
Jobs, or classes, in JRPGs have been a long-standing feature, but Like a Dragon: Infinite Fortune adds unique features with characters like Aquanot, Cabbie, and Housekeeper. Each job, while generic sounding, brings a unique set of abilities that can significantly impact your battle strategy. While your hero traditionally doesn’t fit into most jobs, the game offers a massive list to choose from and upgrade individually. To help you assemble the best team without a ton of grinding, we’ve reviewed each job’s strengths to present you with the top candidates.
Best Jobs
Ground Dancer
For a magic-focused, offensive class, the Earth Dancer stands out. While the Butler is another option, the Earth Dancer offers a better MP rating and defense. Available as early as Chapter 5, it offers a balance of healing skills and offensive capabilities, allowing you to start leveling right away.
By carefully selecting and mastering these jobs, you can create a powerful team in Like a Dragon: Unlimited Wealth.
Desperado (Male only)

The Outlaw class excels with guns, so there’s no need to worry about range or positioning. With an MP rating of 5/5 and an attack damage of 4/5, the Outlaw has powerful skills, including “Essence of Noon,” a one-hit kill skill against enemies with status effects. While powerful, it’s important to stay in the back, as you’re vulnerable to all kinds of damage.

warrior
First up, the Samurai is focused on damage, and its damage per second is excellent. With solid HP and MP ratings (3/5), its attack is 5/5 and its defense is 4/5. In addition to sword attacks, the Samurai can also use guns, allowing for more strategic options. This class is ideal for heavy hitters like Ichiban or Kiryu, bringing versatility to your team.
Idol (female only)
Known for its support role, the Idol class remains strong in Like a Dragon: Infinite Fortune. While lacking in offensive power (2/5 rating), its skills focus on team buffs and healing. Having a dedicated healer is essential for survival and can complement the offensive capabilities of the Samurai and Desperado.
How to Change Jobs in Yakuza: Infinite Fortune
Unlike its predecessor, the Job Switch in Yakuza: Infinite Fortune takes some time to unlock. You won’t get this option right away, you’ll need to make some progress in the game to do so. Job Switch is available in Chapter 5 of Yakuza: Infinite Fortune, so you’ll need to be patient and play through the first few chapters.
To unlock the career switch, you’ll come across a place called Alo-Happy early in Chapter 5. There, you’ll be prompted to participate in a short side story to learn about the business, which is essentially a travel agency that sells experiences. After your first visit to Alo-Happy, you can start taking on various experiences like surfing, fire dancing, and paragliding–provided you have the required social stats and some cash. Completing these experiences is simple; you just have to watch a short cutscene, and then you’ll unlock the corresponding career.
The game provides a variety of professions for male characters, each with unique abilities and advantages. Some professions can be obtained immediately, while others may require additional conditions to unlock.
Likewise, the female characters in Infinite Wealth have their own set of professions, each with its own unique characteristics. Some professions are accessible from the start, while others may require specific requirements or conditions to be met before they can be unlocked.
Knowing how to unlock and change classes can significantly enhance your character’s combat capabilities. So once you reach Chapter 5, head to Alo-Happy, explore the available experiences, and diversify your party’s skills by unlocking different classes for a more dynamic gaming experience.

In the game Yakuza: Infinite Fortune, you can control characters such as Kasuga Ichiban and Kiryu Kazuma and their friends to explore Isezaki Ijincho in Yokohama and the city of Honolulu in Hawaii. Kamurocho is also a featured location in the game, and the district is well known from previous Yakuza games. The game uses a turn-based battle system for all characters, similar to Yakuza: Infinite Fortune. Each character can choose from a variety of “jobs”, which are like professions that give them special abilities and play styles.
Kiryu’s unique class, “Dragon of Dojima,” allows him to switch between different fighting styles, and even temporarily engage in real-time battles like in previous games. The Poundmates summoning system is back, allowing you to summon various characters from the series, such as Shun Akiyama and Kaoru Sayama.
There are familiar mini-games like karaoke, darts, and mahjong, as well as arcade games like Virtua Fighter 3tb, Sega Bass Fishing, and SpikeOut. New mini-games in Infinite Wealth include Crazy Delivery, a food delivery game inspired by Sega’s Crazy Taxi; Sujimon Battle, a Pokémon parody; and Miss Match, a dating app designed for Kasuga. A key side job is Happy Resort Dondoko Island, where Kasuga manages his own resort island, which involves tasks like resource gathering, crafting, and social interaction. Kiryu has his own side job, Bucket List, where he reunites with old friends from previous Like Dragon games.

Kasuga learns that his mother Akane is still alive in Hawaii, and heads there.
In Hawaii, Kasuga encounters various challenges, including a robbery, and befriends engineer Eiji Mitamura. They discover that Akane’s disappearance is connected to the gang’s search for her. Kasuga reunites with Kazuma Kiryu, who reveals that he has cancer. Together, they uncover a conspiracy, and a powerful figure, Bryce Fairchild, is looking for Akane because she knows a child named Lani. The story unfolds with battles, alliances, and the revelation of a mafia conspiracy.
