The Doobie Brothers are an American rock band that formed in San Jose, California in 1970 and have been a musical force for over fifty years. The current lineup includes founding members Tom Johnston and Patrick Simmons, as well as Michael McDonald and John McPhee. The band’s lineup went through some changes over the years, with Michael McDonald joining in 1975, bringing a soulful touch to their sound.
