Where can I find the Serenity Bulb in Avatar: Pandora’s Frontier?
To find the Tranquility Bulb in Avatar: Pandora’s Frontier, head to the Upper Plains, the second windswept area in the game and home to the Zeswa clan. According to the Hunter’s Guide, you can often find Serenity Bulbs in the Pillar Canyon biome, specifically in Weeping Canyon in the northeastern part of the Upper Plains.
However, if you’re looking for the rare Delicate Shaded Waterweed Bast from the Serenity Bulb below the Floating Mountain, you won’t be able to find it in the Pillar Canyon biome. Instead, you need to head to the Weeping Steps in Step’s Cradle, just west of Celebration Valley.

Although the area is labeled Windswept Prairie rather than Pillar Canyon, it is the only place in the upper plains where the all-important floating mountains can be found. So if you want those special tranquility bulbs, head to the Weeping Steps.

How to collect delicate Shadowweed Bast from Serenity Bulbs in Avatar: Pandora’s Frontier?
To harvest the exquisite Shadowweed Bast from the Serenity Bulb in Avatar: Pandora’s Frontier, it’s crucial to be in the right location, heading to the Weeping Stairs, rather than heading to the Pillar Canyon biome. Once inside the Weeping Stairs, stay on the ground and search directly beneath the Floating Mountains, where delicate shaded water plants will spawn.
Serenity bulbs have a hollow cylindrical shape, so you will need to get inside to check the quality of the shade plant. To enter, find the section with the purple bushes on the edge, drop down towards the ground, then sprint and jump to the maximum height. Timing is critical, but this method is more reliable than getting off the Ikran.
Collecting exquisite Shadowweed Bast is vital to the Apex Skill quest in the Maker tree, enhancing the power of the weapons and equipment you craft. For this quest, the aquatic plants must be delicate, and it is beneficial to meet both harvest bonuses.

To get the original reward, pull the shadow waterweed to the right of the harvest circle. To receive the conditional bonus, harvest shade waterweed in dry conditions; water inside the Serenity Bulb does not count toward this bonus. If you’re struggling to find delicate shade aquatic plants, reduce global pollution levels by eliminating RDA facilities to increase the likelihood that delicate material will spawn.
