Warcraft Rumble Update 1.0.0 Patch Notes
Update 1.0.0 is here! Guild improvements, War Chests, Path to Onyxia, Heroic Campaigns, Mini Rareities, Dungeon Overhaul, PvP improvements, and more!
Guilds The guild system has been updated to improve quality of life and functionality.
- Guilds now have an invitation-only status option.
- Member controls have been improved.
- Icons have been added to improve guild customization.
- Guild chat has been overhauled.
War Chest Speaking of guilds, War Chest is a new guild feature that lets you work with friends to earn seasonal rewards from Arclight Surge and PvP!
- Just like the PvP season, the War Chest event lasts for 6 weeks.
- War Chests provide a bonus track for each household, as well as a bonus track for your overall progress during a season.
- Each Arclight Surge mission will award 30 badges, matching the family used to complete the Surge mission.
- The mission your army is in will award 15 badges for each family in that army.
- Each family will also receive a PvP badge.
- House crests in PvP are awarded in 200 Honor increments and level up as you progress. Each award can only be obtained once per family per season.
- For example, if Red has received 36 Blackstone Crests from reaching 5200 Honor, Drakisath will not receive 36 Crests from reaching 5200 Honor. You need to reach 5400 to get the next 36 Blackstone Crests.
- House crests in PvP are awarded in 200 Honor increments and level up as you progress. Each award can only be obtained once per family per season.
The number of badges you can get for every 200 leader honors earned:
Receive leadership honors | Awarded a badge | Total Crest Earned per Household |
---|---|---|
200-1000 | 6 | 30 |
1200-2000 | 12 | 60 |
2200-3000 | 18 | 90 |
3200-4000 | twenty four | 120 |
4200-5000 | 30 | 150 |
5200-6000 | 36 | 180 |
6200-7000 | 42 | 210 |
- Family rewards are divided into 2,000, 4,000 and 6,000 badges.
- Overall progress rewards are 10,000, 20,000 and 30,000 badges respectively.
Path of Onyxia Formerly known as “Skeleton” or “Path of Skulls”, Path of Onyxia is a measure of your progress in the game, which will unlock features and rewards!
- Start earning Marks of Onyxia by completing campaign missions.
- “Path of Onyxia” will unlock game modes, including PvP, Arclight Surge, Dungeons, and more.
- Other rewards can also be collected, such as leader and troop selection.

The Hero Campaign campaign is too easy for you? Want to show off your skills and get more rewards? It’s time to start your rumble!
- New Heroic Quests become available after 50 Marks of Onyxia.
- Hero missions are 10 levels more difficult than the campaign, with each mission offering new challenges to overcome.
- Hero Missions will provide rewards for each family won, for each mission completed by all families, and for each entire zone completed!
- Conquest has been removed and replaced by Heroic Mode.
Mini Rarity and Star Point Minis now have an additional growth track: Rarity!
- Mini cost has been reduced from 350 Troops and 400 Leaders to 90 Troops and 120 Leaders.
- Mini-rare items include: Common, Uncommon, Uncommon, Epic, and Legendary.
- Minis can be upgraded using Star Points, Arc Power, and Upgrade Cores. These can be obtained from the campaign, war chests, PvP, dungeons, and daily rewards.
- Miniatures can appear in the grid as “Common”, “Uncommon”, “Rare” or “Epic”.
- Each rarity except Common provides a bonus level for your mini.
- Uncommon, Rare, and Epic will unlock talent slots 1, 2, and 3 for each mini.
- Collection levels (formerly player levels) now increase every 5 minis of rarity instead of every 20 minis.
- Talent cost reduced from 500 to 250.
DungeonsDungeons has received a major update that encourages you to play as all leaders in your collection, not just the highest level.
- Dungeon levels are now set per leader, and each leader must fight through the dungeon to gain troop upgrades.
- Courage as currency has been removed.
- Dungeons start at level 5, and each leader will receive an Army upgrade immediately upon completing the dungeon.
- Once the boss defeats a copy, the next copy will be 1 level higher.
- Arc Energy is gained for defeating each boss in the dungeon, and some progress is reset every week.
- This allows you to gain Arc Power each week, regardless of whether you clear the dungeon completely. Each level provides more arc energy than the last!
- Each week, the dungeon will feature a specific family to earn rewards, creating 20 unique dungeon and family combinations!
- Players will now only receive relics that affect at least one mini in their army during a dungeon run.
Developer Notes: The Army Upgrade directly increases the power of the leader you are using, while Arc Power can be used on any mini in your collection. This balance provides for different types of gameplay while discouraging players from playing every leader in every dungeon every week.
PvPPvP is getting some improvements!
- New map: Timbermaw Fortress!
- New level rules for PvP:
- Rank to Bronze (0-3000 player honors) and all minis will be set to level 1.
- For all levels above 3000, the mini level will be divided by 3 and rounded up.
- For example, a level 7 mini in your collection will be level 3 in PvP.
- PvP season rewards are now more diverse, with players earning mini-gear every season.
- Unbound mini-games can no longer be used in an opposing player’s base deployment area.
Developer Note: We’ve always wanted PvE progression to have some impact on PvP, but also wanted to make sure the power gap between players was smaller in PvP.
additional changes
- The final artwork for Gnomeregan is here!
- The base and towers have new art!
- Once all empty slots are filled, earned army upgrade slots can now be re-rolled for 50 coins. Rerolled traits will maintain their current level increase.
- XP levels are now reduced from 1-25 to 1-20.
- A hatchling egg cannot be targeted until it has completely hit the ground.
- The Drake Lair talent now spawns 3 drakes, up from 4.
- The big red buttons can now be stored, allowing players to use them in bursts.
- Lots of other general improvements, bug fixes, and more!
Known issues
- We have investigated an issue that resulted in some players losing their guild. Currently, we are unable to restore this state and players will need to recreate their guild.
- We are aware that some players have recently lost access and we are working on how to restore access to these players.

warcraft
Warcraft is a multimedia series from Blizzard Entertainment that spans video games, novels, and various other forms of media. The series revolves around five base games: Warcraft: Orcs and Humans, Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness, Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos, World of Warcraft, and Hearthstone.
The original trio of these core games fell into the real-time strategy genre, pitting players against each other or computer-controlled opponents commanding virtual armies. The fourth and most successful installment in the series takes the form of a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), allowing players to guide their characters and interact with each other in a digital realm.

Warcraft’s gameplay revolves around the intricate, immersive world of Azeroth, where players can embark on an epic journey and participate in a variety of activities. Whether you’re exploring a rich lore, battling powerful foes, or teaming up with other adventurers, Warcraft offers a multifaceted gaming experience.
In real-time strategy games like Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos, players strategically command armies, manage resources, and engage in tactical warfare. From building a base to training units to unleashing powerful spells, gameplay requires a combination of strategic planning and quick decision-making.
World of Warcraft is an iconic massively multiplayer online role-playing game that presents a vast open world filled with quests, dungeons, and diverse landscapes.
