Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate Demon Hunter Plot
In the game’s prologue, players take on the role of Captain Agravan, leading a Grey Knights commando against a Khorne Chapter on the planet of Gaheris. Despite their efforts, most of the team dies in battle, including Agravan himself. Another Grey Knight, Ektar, appoints a surviving member as the new commander, and after a fierce battle, they embark on a journey to Titan to debrief and repair.
During their travels, the strike force encountered Inquisitor Kasa Valkir, who tasked them with investigating a region-wide plague known as the Bloom. As they investigated, they discovered an Eldar Craftworld corrupted by Nurgle, the Chaos God of disease and decay. Here, they confronted Death Guard traitors led by Nurgle’s Daemon Prince Caldecis Icarion, and learned that the Reapers were spreading the Bloom throughout the region.

Despite their efforts to capture Kadex and stop the spread of Brum, Inquisitor Valkir discovered that defeating the Reapers alone was not enough. The Daemon Primarch of the Death Guard, Mortarion, revealed himself to be the mastermind behind Brum and intended to use the sector as a base for attacks against the Grey Knights. This revelation set the stage for a decisive battle with Mortarion and his minions, as the fate of the sector hung in the balance.
As the Grey Knights battle Mortarion and his armies, they must traverse treacherous environments and overcome insurmountable odds to sever the root of Brum and thwart Mortarion’s plans. With the help of Grand Master Kaldor Draigo, the Grey Knights face their greatest challenge yet, in a final showdown that will determine the fate of the galaxy.
