What happened to Harley Quinn after Arkham Knight?
Set after the events of Arkham Knight, Harley Quinn returns to the front lines, having been re-inducted into the Suicide Squad by Amanda Waller. The team is sent on another high-risk mission as a means of shortening their prison sentences. They are dispatched to Metropolis to find that the city has fallen into the clutches of Brainiac, who has not only invaded the Justice League, but has also conquered it.
Among them is Superman, an unexpected adversary for the team who greatly annoys them. As they navigate dangerous situations, the team must also deal with the enormous challenge posed by Brainiac’s control over the iconic Super Heroes.
In this gripping story, Harley Quinn and the Suicide Squad are pitted against Brainiac’s manipulation of the Justice League, setting the stage for a tense and unpredictable mission. The stakes are higher than ever as the Suicide Squad faces a brainwashed Superman, adding layers of complexity and suspense to the unfolding storyline in the shadow of the events of Arkham Knight.

From Batman: Arkham Knight to Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, a lot has happened in the Arkham Universe. In the last game, Arkham Knight, the villain Scarecrow revealed Batman’s identity to everyone. This forced Batman to fake his own death.
For players who 100% completed Batman: Arkham Knight, they saw the Knightfall finale, where Batman returns to further scare criminals using Scarecrow’s fear toxin. So it was surprising that the trailer for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League showed Batman back in action, brainwashed by Brainiac, as if nothing had changed. Fortunately, the early parts of the new game explain what has happened in the five years since Batman: Arkham Knight came out.

Batman: Arkham Knight is an action-adventure game set in an open-world Gotham City that players can freely explore from the start. The game retains gadgets and elements from previous Arkham games, such as the grappling hook gun, batarangs, and detective vision. New upgrades include jammers that can disable enemy weapons and a voice synthesizer for imitating other characters. Batman can use aerial gadgets to glide around the city, and the Batmobile is also used for transportation, puzzle solving, and combat.
The game features a “FreeFlow” combat system that allows for seamless attacking, counterattacks, and dodging. Enemies have various abilities, such as shields and stun guns, and Batman can disarm them and use weapons. “Two-Player” allows players to switch between Batman and allies such as Robin or Catwoman during combat. New enemies such as medics and sword wielders add complexity. Throughout the city, Batman encounters challenges such as enemy watchtowers, outposts, and explosive mines. Side quests called “Most Wanted” involve iconic Batman characters and include 243 Riddler challenges. Batman can also investigate crimes and unlock the New Game Plus mode after completing the story.

Suicide Squad Kills Justice League
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is an action shooting game developed by Rocksteady Studios and published by Warner Bros. Games. As a spin-off of the Batman: Arkham series and a sequel to Batman: Arkham Knight (2015), the game delves into the story of the DC Comics Suicide Squad.

Players control four super villains – Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, Harley Quinn and King Shark – who are recruited by Amanda Waller to stop the alien invader Brainiac in Metropolis. The mission involves freeing the members of the Justice League from Brainiac’s control. The game features an open world design, and players can explore Metropolis alone or in co-op mode.
The game was originally announced in August 2020 and has since been delayed several times, but has now been released on PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S on February 2, 2024. Deluxe Edition owners get early access on January 29, 2024. Kevin Conroy, the famous voice actor of Batman, gave his final performance in the game, marking an important moment after his death on November 10, 2022.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is an engrossing action-adventure game set in a vast open-world Metropolis.
