They team up with another Luthor to uncover Waller’s secret plan. Faced with the brainwashed hero, they disarm Brainiac’s defenses but are thwarted. Superman survives the attack of the golden kryptonite, and Wonder Woman’s sacrifice is in vain. Luthor-2 suggests capturing Batman as a countermeasure.
Despite defeating Superman, Brainiac captures the team, threatening domination of the multiverse. Rescued by Luthor-2, they confront Brainiac directly and capture him, but inadvertently causing his death. Earth-1 is saved, and the team, now aware that there are multiple Brainiacs, prepares to deal with the remaining threats in different universes.

The game was originally scheduled to be released in 2022, but was later delayed and finally landed on PlayStation 5, Windows and Xbox Series X/S on February 2, 2024. The Deluxe Edition was opened to eager players in early access from January 29, adding to the excitement of the highly anticipated release.

Suicide Squad Kills: Justice League Gameplay
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is an action-packed game experience set in the open world of Metropolis. The game centers around four playable characters – Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, Harley Quinn and King Shark. Players can go it alone or team up with friends in a cooperative multiplayer mode for up to four players. In single-player games, you can easily switch between characters and let the AI control other characters.
Each character is equipped with two weapons, some of which are shared, and displays a unique fighting style and movement. For example, Harley Quinn wields a baseball bat and uses Batman’s grappling gun to move. The game uses a skill tree progression system, allowing players to try out various skills and customize their characters as they go.

Suicide Squad Kills: Justice League Development
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League marks one of Kevin Conroy’s final appearances as Batman following his death on November 10, 2022. Geoff Johns of DC Comics first mentioned the game in 2010 and shared development details in 2012, highlighting the unique feature of the game in which any of the main characters could die.
Hints about the Suicide Squad appeared in Batman: Arkham Origins (2013), but rumors about the game didn’t surface until after Batman: Arkham Knight (2015). Unfortunately, in 2016, the project was announced to be cancelled. However, in August 2020, Rocksteady Studios officially announced The Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.
The game is part of the “Arkham Universe”, continuing the storyline of previous Batman games, and was unveiled at DC FanDome in August 2020. Los Angeles-based Unbroken Studios is assisting in development. During the creation of the game, Rocksteady co-founders Jamie Walker and Sefton Hill left in 2022 and founded Hundred Stars Studios in January 2024 to focus on industry veterans and new talent.
