Sasaki and the Peepers
“Sasaki and Peep” is a Japanese light novel series written by Buncololi and illustrated by Kantoku. This fantasy comedy and isekai genre series started as a web novel about Kakuyomu and Shosetsuka ni Narō in December 2018, and was later published in January 2021 under Media Factory’s MF Bunko J imprint. Eight volumes have been released by January 2024. The story revolves around Sasaki, a middle-aged office worker and Pips, a powerful mage from another world, who embarks on a magical adventure.

The manga adaptation drawn by Pureji Osho began serialization in Kadokawa Shoten’s “Shounen Ace Plus” online magazine in January 2021, and as of August 2023, three single volumes have been published. Both the light novel and manga are licensed in English by Yen Press. The anime TV series produced by Silver Link and directed by Mirai Minato will premiere in January 2024. The anime is currently airing on AT-X, Tokyo MX, SUN, BS NTV and KBS Kyoto, and Crunchyroll has the licensing rights. So far, four episodes have been aired.
Will Sasaki and the Peepers get a second season?
As of late January 2024, there is no official release date for the second season of Sasaki and Peep.
