What happened in Aquaman 2?
In Aquaman 2, Arthur Curry is now the King of Atlantis, but he faces a new threat in the form of his old nemesis Black Manta, who seeks revenge for his father’s death. Manta discovers the powerful Black Trident, which gives him the power to destroy Arthur.

Manta attacks Atlantis and steals the Olly Halkine to power ancient Atlantean machinery, causing environmental destruction. To stop Manta, Arthur joins forces with his half-brother Orm and learns the origin of the Trident.
The journey takes them to a volcanic island where they face mutated flora and fauna. Orm discovers the connection between the Trident and Kordax, the imprisoned ruler of Necrus. Manta kidnaps Arthur’s son, Arthur Jr., and leads them to Necrus in Antarctica.
A fierce battle ensued, with Mera saving Arthur and Orm atoning for his sins. They destroyed Koldax and the Black Trident, causing Necros to collapse.
Arthur believed in the unity of the underwater kingdom and the surface world, and he revealed the existence of Atlantis to the United Nations in order to make Atlantis a member country.
Orm, believed dead, chooses to remain hidden above water. The story emphasizes the importance of redemption, family bonds, and uniting the two worlds to preserve the well-being of the ocean.
Aquaman 3 Actor
In the possible sequel Aquaman 3, the main cast could be Jason Momoa reprising his role as Arthur Curry/Aquaman. Nicole Kidman could return as Queen Atlanna, while Amber Heard’s return as Mera is uncertain due to legal issues.
